John Ford (jford on here) and his wife Anita visited the Mid-Hudson Valley this week, so my wife Denise and I got together with them for dinner in Rhinebeck, NY. Here's a picture of John (on the right) and me. They are great folks, and John is every bit as nice in person as he is online. It was a good time and a great honor meeting him.

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of two people who are any more helpful and likeable than the two people in this picture. I'm glad you got the opportunity to meet and share some conversation. Hopefully one of these days I'll get around to meeting some of the forum regulars.

Well, I was going to, but they were pretty adamant about no photography or video. However, I can say that Matt and his band was in top form and Anita and I enjoyed the concert immensely. The orchestra missed a few cues, but Rio Jazz was dead on.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
