Jazz Jam? is just a jam I did after returning home from my photo shot vacation/holiday. Band-in-a-Box supplied the backing tracks and I just jammed along.

I hope you like it for what it is.

BiaB style = Relaxed Jazz Quartet (85RS) which contains RTS
1-Acoustic Jazz Bass Sw 140
2-Piano rhythm Jazz Sw 140
3-Guitar Electric Rhythm Jazz Sw 140
4-JazzTerryClark RealDrums Jazz brushes #1

I deleted the Alto sax leads and replaced them with my Jay Turner J136 jazz box guitar played through Amplitude 3 preset clean amp-ambience SR.

I generated the BiaB tracks, copied them to Sonar 2Xa then recorded my guitar.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi Mario,

It's good to see you again in the forum.

At the moment, I'm sitting here proofreading school reports, it's 4:30 a.m., and I'm welcoming the pleasant distraction that your music has given me. That was some mighty fine playing (as always)! My only criticism is that when it finished, I thought "What? Is it over?". They say it's always good to leave the audience wanting more smile

Thanks for giving me some good music to listen to this morning!

All the best,
Noel

Fun time Mario, sounds good.

Where ya been?

PS: I had a little gig in Biloxi last week and as I drove by the IP I could not help but think of you guys and our little meeting there a few months ago. I hope all is well.

Later,

Thanx Noel, Danny and Guenter for listening and the very nice comments, they are greatly appreciated.

Noel and Danny, here is the reasons I haven’t been on the forums much lately:
1-2.5 week vacation in Florida
2-after that trip work yard work and sickness, both the wife and myself, keep us very busy.
3-1.5 week photo shoot vacation in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland with a professional photographer.
4-more outside work but I hurt my back and groin so I’ve got sometime to spend on my computer.

Thanx for thinking of me!

Mario -

Nice to see you back in the Showcase... your offerings are always interesting - and I look forward to them.

This was quite enjoyable - very "real and organic" - musical.

Keep it up.

Greetings, Mario! It just hit me while listening to this cool jam that, as much I've read from you in the other forum sections, I do believe this was the first time I actually heard something of yours shocked

This sounds like a real group of players in a small venue, just playing. Very relaxing, and I also wanted it to go on a bit more! Nice guitar, Mario!

It has a brilliant free-live vibe! I just love the tone on your guitar. It's a wonderfully raw and expressive feel and the licks are alive.

I am there!

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
