Bob, it's your caring attitude that moves mountains! If they don't learn anything else, they will at least know that I am loved and cared about.

Don, first and foremost I'm praying for a quick recovery for you.

I'm praying that the news coverage has the proper effect and can resolve this issue at this particular home for your and the other residents' benefit.

If I haven't said it before, thank you for your service. You deserve better than this.

They seem to be getting the picture. I'm now getting the best, most attentive care of my life - maybe too much so.

Scott, your letter to the Administrator (email) would be much appreciated.

I'm am still waiting for acknowledgement from Channels 6 and 8 in Tulsa. Now they tell me to report the incident to Channel 2 Tulsa. They are well known for kickin' arses.

I appreciate anything you can do to get this and other nursing homes up to full staff levels which would/could have prevented all of this pain and suffering in the first place. I don't believe the staff here has ever been at 100%, more like 60%. There are supposed to be two aides on my hall and I have seldom, if ever, seen that which is in direct violation to State guidelines.

Hope, all goes well and the matters at hand will be addressed for ALL of those who have not been treated right.

All my best to you, Don!

Cheers,
Mike

Everything seems to have fallen through a crack. No response from the VA, Corporate Office, three TV channels, Nada. I don't know if the authorities have acknowledged your protest emails or not. Meanwhile, my case gets progressively weaker as the stitches were removed and the bruising fades.

I haven't heard a peep out of the three TV stations. Perhaps Elder Abuse is to commonplace to be considered newsworthy.

The Corporate Office has merely transferred the former Administrator which only gives him a clean slate amid a hundred new helpless victims. Ludicrous!

Color me frustrated and confused.

Maybe its time to just be glad that he's not where he could do me harm anymore, Don.

Not consistently, Bob. In fact only one gargantuan Cherokee aide (don't imagine Cher) has put me down for bed the past two nights and she is one who has dropped me already some months ago. She's about 300 pounds (145 kg). Fortunately, she only pulled a muscle in my hip joint. Only took a few weeks to recover from that incident.

I don't have much choice in the matter if I want to go to sleep.

A pretty little black student (they call themselves black down here. John Wayne and I don't like to further divide ourselves with hyphens) cut me yesterday with fingernail clippers and she cried like a baby thinking I might report her and she wouldn't get her CNA license. Then my regular aide pointed out the scars that everyone else put on my head and face. She begged to be my aide when she gets her CNA license. She left one hand unclipped. I've come to recognize good students by the way they move either toward or away from tasks. Sheronda moved toward work. I want her as my aide and I will definitely recommend her to the Administrator. She has one more week of training but, already, she says that she loves me. How can I argue such flawless logic?

I pray for a rapid recovery for you.

I hope you had someone take pictures of you when you were hurt.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Mario, actually, at great risk to her job, the housekeeper took two very incriminating pics with her cam/phone but she doesn't know how to attach them to an email.

State Inspectors came yesterday from Oklahoma Department of Health so "It ain't over 'til it's over, Yogi!" They were appalled at the news that one aide is still putting me to bed at night alone and without help. That was the cause of the original "accident!"

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
