Hola, saludos a todos, quisiera saber si Band in a Box trabaja con frecuencias de muestreo de 44.1 solo, o tambien con 48, 88, y 96 khz y tambien con cuantos bits, solo 16 o 24 tambien? Gracias por la ayuda.

Hola David,

Band-in-a-Box acepta y reproduce su propio audio en una resolucion nativa de 44.1 khz y una profundidad de 16 bits. Sin embargo permite grabar y reproducir en otras frecuencias gracias a un proceso de conversion automática que realiza en las ocasiones en que otros rangos de valores son recibidos por el programa o aún cuando los dispositivos en el sistema, como la tarjeta de audio, esten configuradas en otros valores, como 48, 88 y 96 khz y 24, 32 bits. Es notorio observar por ejemplo que luego de grabar audio en un rango de valores diferente a 44.1 y 16 bits, aparece una barra de progreso en Band-in-a-Box que nos muestra el proceso de conversión automático.
También es importante hacer notar que algunos sistemas equipados con controladores viejos "legacy" o heredados podrían causar ciertos problemas de compatibilidad entre ellos y Band-in-a-Box, pero realmente ocurre en muy contadas ocasiones y practicamente nunca con sistemas actualizados y con controladores estables y sólidos.

Gracias maestro por su respuesta, me gustaria saber si existe alguna mejoria en el audio cuando se convierte de 44.1 /16 a por ejemplo 48/24 en el Band ina box. Y si seria mejor grabar en los valores originales del programa en lugar de otros , ya que despues serán convertidos de nuevo .

Hola David,

En realidad no existe mejoría al cambiar dichos valores de frecuencia de muestreo y profundidad de bits desde valores inferiores a superiores, lo contrario si puede por supuesto reducir la calidad de un audio. Sin embargo vale la pena acotar que en el campo de la grabación y edición de audio es siempre preferible trabajar con valores lo mas razonablemente altos posibles para dejarle holgura a los procesos en cuanto a resolución se refiere y de esa manera distribuir mejor los recursos disponibles sin desmedro de la calidad subjetiva del audio. Por eso se recomienda en las estaciones de trabajo de audio (DAW) configurar la resolución a un mínimo de 48 khz/24 o 32 bit , de esta forma dispondremos de holgura digital o ancho de banda suficiente para asegurar una solida reproducción, conversión y procesamiento digital, sobre todo al usar numerosos plugins o recursos del programa.
