I will keep a sharp eye on the screen. I have some small over the ear headphones to hear the mix with. That should be okay.

PS: Depending on what time Pat ends his show I may try to do an hour after him.

Robh,

I will follow Pat Saturday, looks like a PG Music Saturday on SJ.

I plan to do a mixed bag hence "Gumbo" title . . . some jazz, some country, some blues and an original or two.

Brother I hope you do Teach Me Tonight so you can show the other members what a great job you do on that song!

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

I'm waiting with bated breath (read herring or sardine) until I see/hear you, little brother.
Ain't SJ something?

Long as the chicken is donning Depends, Rob! They check at the door. Nothing worse than a chicken pre-loaded with Milk Of Magnesia dancing the Funky Chicken. Know what I mean, Vern?

I enjoyed all of you on SJ today. Joanne the kids were so cute - Jonathan couldn't get an cuter and Holly's got her mom's musical genes. Pat did some cool jazzy Christmas songs.

It's the first time I've seen Danny and neighbor you were nothing short of awesome! Loved it.

Don, I cancelled my artist account and rejoined as a fan - that's why the blank avatar - didn't have time to do another one before the shows started. Leaving SJ to the folks already playing live. Too busy with other things.

Glad I was able to catch all of you this morning.

Josie

Josie,

1st of all I am very sad to think that you will not be joining us on SJ, I hope you change your mind as I know you and your songs would be big hits. Please think about it a bit more.

Thank you for your very kind words neighbor. It is always great to have 2 acts that started me with a nice audience, thanks Josie and Pat.

PS: I will have a "driver" on the computer for my next show in an effort to handle the chat part of the experience more efficiently. I am sooo old school when it cones to playing a live gig as it is all about giving the audience as much or more music than they pay for, but in this type of venue it is much different as I think a virtual audience expects more feedback. So I am thinking having someone on the computer on my end relaying messages would workout much better.

Thanks again!

Sweetheart, I remember your views on playing live but I hadn't had a clue that it would preclude an avatar. Nuts!

I plan on encouraging Josie C to schedule Holly to do her own show when they return from holiday. Little Holly was just getting into it in the end. Very cute kids.

Danny C. was smooth and hot (can you be smooth and hot at the same time?) ... and I mean "hot" in the musical sense (ha, ha).

Sorry I missed josiec and Pat -- I was actually working.

Kev, you needn't prove that you were workin, providing that you have sufficient witnesses over the age of majority. Immediate family do not qualify. Oh yeah, and Pat Marr doesn't qualify as an impartial witness.

You were totally fantastic, lil Bro. Anxious for your next show. Unfortunately, I can't perform live anymore. I still can appreciate "home grown" music that SJ provides me. Thanks again.

Kevin,

Thanks, I will correct the "not knowing who's watching issue" for sure. I apologize for not even knowing you were there man!

Looking forward to your next show.

Josie, when your absence is so widely noticed, it speaks volumes as to how much that you are loved by your PG friends. You, dear lady, are family. You are very much loved and missed. Jus'sayin.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
