When using the app I don't seem to get the correct tempo sent to the Android app.
If I change it from either the app or the desktop they seem to work (talk), but not when I first load a song. The tempo in the app defaults to 140.
Anyone else notice this?
Just noticed, if I hit rewind (even if I haven't hit play yet) the tempo loads to the app.

Morning Bob, i wish i could confirm, but don't have the android app
Lenovo Win 10 16 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2022, Realband, Harrison Mixbus 32c version 9.1324, Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app, Komplete 49 key controller.

Does the RB app come with BIAB or do you need to download from the app store?
BIAB/RB 2018 PlusPak. Dell Inspiron23 running Win10, 12GB RAM, 2.5GHz i7, Presonus AudioBox USB interface.

The server function that drives it comes with BiaB, but I think I installed the app from the app store.
I just went to the Google Play store (on my phone) and searched Realband remote, I don't think it cost me anything this way .. but it may have been a buck. Honestly don't remember.
Download and install the app to Android device.
Start the Server function from (normally) the C:\bb\bbhelper\ folder
Launch the app on your android and this triggers the server function to launch RB on my system.
You can load a file from either the computer or the app, but the tempo seems to default to 140 and not match the seq file tempo on my phone. Hitting the rewind button on the app seems to make it grab the correct tempo from the file.
Then you can use the phone app as a remote control for RB. Play, record, mixer volumes and panning, etc.
Otherwise it works pretty dang well here.

I'll download and try it out. I tried the Android BIAB app a few months ago but ran into some issues with it. When comparing it to the ios version app shown in the video on PG's website it seemed to be lacking some key functionality such as: swiping over to additional screens and functions, adjusting to a new tempo while a song is playing, switching out one guitar/drums/keyboard part for an alternative, access to the mixer for adjusting the various track volumes and pans, conductor capabilities for jamming, etc. With the large and growing Android user base, hopefully they can improve it.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
