I did find it under the edit drop down menu, thanks. But after many breaths, some deep but not all, I still can't find the "icon", so I am guessing it was eliminated with the new GUI?
It's in the AABA button, as posted by seeker. Later, Ray
Sorry to seem like such a blockhead guys but I have no idea what an "AABA button" is and the only "song icon" I see is over the "Style Icon" but no problem the "under edit tip" has solved the problem.
Maybe one day it will just pop out a say here I am! Until then the intro generations will be made from under the "edit" function.
Well Danny, I was at a loss too, I didn't dare to ask, but I'm glad you did, But in spite of all the welcomed answers, to correctly answer your question is...yes, it is gone!
The icon was "not" on my screen but the down arrow gave me another shot at it. I guess I was spoiled with one click to generate an intro instead of now "3" clicks.
In defense of old guys, hey we don't really know how many clicks we have left so I choose to use mine wisely.
Thanks everyone, now you can take the rest of the day off :>
Mario STAY WARM brother!
PS: Thanks Pete, and by the way I still do not have a clue at to what an "AABA" Icon is.:>
Mike and Danny, I get it now! I have 2011 BiaB installed on my Internet computer and checked this out. Yes the Icon is no longer there in the new GUI but the function lives on. Maybe you should put its return on the wish list.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.
64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware
Danny for me there is a lot of stuff hiding in plain site!
Lenovo Win 10 16 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2022, Realband, Harrison Mixbus 32c version 9.1324, Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app, Komplete 49 key controller.
Hi Danny, like has been mentioned, it depends on your screen resolution. In the 2014 version, if things don't fit width-wise, they are grouped into sub-items:
BIAB & RB2024 Win.(Audiophile), Sonar Platinum, Cakewalk by Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M Monitors, Pioneer Active Monitors, AKG K271 Studio H'phones
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
