Well I'm on a roll this month. Just To Get Back To You Chicago/Dixieland swing tune, using RT of course. Somewhat different format for me but I'm experimenting. If there are any Dixieland music purist out there, your thoughts please. Dixieland Medley: Teddy Trio with Miles, Neil and Clark rhythm, Trumpet, clarinet and trombone: https://soundcloud.com/carolyne-swayze/just-to-get-back-to-youJUST TO GET BACK TO YOU I'm rocking through the east side Rolling through the west side I'm walking on the wild side Just To Get Back To You. I'm chillin' through the north side, Sunning on the south side I'm traveling on the light side Just to prove I'm true. No matter what direction Who cares what route I take As long as your sweet lovin' directs every step I make I'm struttin' on the high side, with no detour in view. I'm looking on the bright side Just To Get Back To You. COPYRIGHT © Carolyne Swayze 2014 BMI License #: Pending

Hi Carolyne
A really good boppy feel, good lyrics, and great choice of instruments for the solos. Very traditional!

You've certainly got a winning sound and a terrific voice.
Nice blend and use of the RT's. Enjoyed it.

Wonderful Jazz voice Carolyne. Nicely arranged and produced. For me the instrumental break goes on a little long but this is not a genre I have much experience with so that may be the norm of how it's done...
Great to have another gal on the forums. Keep 'em coming.

Carolyne, I loved it. I've done a few dixieland and swing things. This really hits the mark. I like the medley RT. SD

As a big lover/listener of 'old jazz', I'd definitely say you nail the genre. Even the lyrics, vocabulary and all, is top notch.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
