Have a really nice arrangement worked up.
Have tried to add a midi super track and it does with a sampletank error yellow indication.
Bold area is reason for post, rest is complicating information.
I have VS 3.81 and also just installed the new realtrack updates.
This is for melody or solo track.
In the past I simply go to plugins, add addictive keys the the music will take off playing
just fine. Now not only does it not play, notation also is totally blank.
In the past have loaded Realtrack, rendered until liked, then copied/moved midi to another
track. Now the realtrack itself does not work at all, no sound.
Was having some resource problems from some of the "free" addons in my process monitor.
Removed them. Task manager memory with BIAB now using about 1.8-bit over 2gig.
Also did the lessor reset on BIAB, reboot PC several times.
Last night ran full scan using Avira, and also MalwareBytes, come up clean.
Only odd thing is Physical Memory usage wanders 0 to about 10%. Do not remember
this happening in the past.
Also have shut down NET connection in case some kind of communication was taking place.

Hi Frank,
After reading your post, I find myself wondering if maybe the MGU file has become corrupted. Do you have an earlier version of the file to try out?
Also, one plan of attack that seems to have some success with retrieving a corrupted file is to open it in RealBand and then save it as MGU but with a slightly different name.
Try this out and see what happens.

I do have an earlier lessor file, but it had/has same problem.
Did not know of the load into RB then save. Good idea!
Will try your suggestion bit later, am tied up with some of "lifes"
demands. Ya I know music comes first. NOT.

Bump I guess...
Noel you gave me a different idea that WORKED.....
I did a highlight/copy of entire arrangement screen.
Clicked NEW icon.
Then did a exact key, chorus count, start point, length construct.
Then pasted the copied arrangement to screen.
Then tried a realtrack first, worked like a champ.
Then tried a super midi track, with Addictive Keys
VSTi inserted, worked like a champ.
Keep in mind did not have a melody to deal with, only the backing arrangement.
But your suggestion is now in my bookmarks for future reference.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
