Hi all,

we are waiting for summer to return. So I think it's time to post this title.
It is the first song I did with BiaB. I had ordered Biab in June 2012, two months before my retirement, when I wanted to start making music again. But I was so curious and couldn't wait. And so I did this song with the appropriate title.
In the beginning I mixed in Realband. But in August 2012 I made a remix with reaper. I don't know why I haven't posted it yet.
Here it is: Pleasant Anticipation
RTs used:
RealDrums: FusionBusyTerryClarke^1-a,b:Blastix, Ride
RT514:Bass,El,Funk Slap Ev100
RT1437:Piano,El,JazzFunkGroovin 110 RT1435:Gtr,El,Rh,JzFnkGrvChord110
RT1651:gitarre,El,Sol,JzFnkEv 110blz
RT475:Sax,Alto,Bossa Ev140
I hope you enjoy.

Guenter,

Sounds great. Excellent mix. The guitar solo was "new" to me - might have to try that in something...

Enjoyed.

That was 'pleasant gratification' to listen to. Very well done.

A BIG +1

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi Floyd, Charlie, Lawrence, Mario and Greg,

thanks for listening and commenting.
And yes, Carlos Eduardo is a great guitar player.
You can imagine the joy I had working with such fine
musicians on my first BiaB song. Thanks PGMusic!

Well, summer is here for us and it wasn't with much anticipation!
The high temps and humidity cut into our non-musical activities
of hiking, biking and kayaking but, hey, more time to listen to
good music and this is definitely good, actually, great music.
As already mentioned the guitar is a super choice. And, yep, it too
reminds me of a show tune or theme. Cool production!

Hi Guenter,
I always enjoy your songs. Each have their own personality. Then, within each one there are these unsuspecting events like in the case of this tune. The listener is merrily going along with the sax and out blasts this sweet guitar attack. I love it!

It is like combining Herb Albert with Steve Vai.

Keep writing! smile

Hi Guenter,

We're looking through the Showcase page for songs we've not listened to before. We totally loved this NuJazz song.

Wir haben es sehr gut!!!!

You have a lot going on but it isn't cluttered. That's hard to so but you did a real nice job on it! Wishing you everything good,

Alan & Di
