Hi, friends !:))

There were some requests about
a sequel to my earlier love songs
and so I decided to see if I still
could write and produce one more?
Recorded and mixed with Mixcraft 6
using zoom H4n as mic.

Style:

_HNKF_BN.STY (Ctry Ballad 120 RS)

Instruments:

Bass: 401 Bass Acoustic jazz Ray
Piano: 527 Guitar AC Fingerpicking Hank
Drums: Realdrums Nashville Swing 8/5 Side stick snare
String: 370 Pedal Steel Background Hank (sw 120)
Soloist: 51 Synth Strings 1

The Lyrics:

THIS LOVE SONG TRUE (by Dani) © Dani Lindroos 2014

This Love Song true
I´ll sing for you, for you
and I´m blue, so, blue, so blue
cause you´re gone away
you are bound to be there to stay
though I´d rather see
that you´d be here with me

You cannot know
How I´m longin´, longin´so
for your touch, your sweet touch, so much
´cause I love you more
maybe even more than before
you´re the one for me
let it always be

Ref:
I´m dreamin´ I´m dreamin´ to hold you in my arms again
to feel your body next to mine and then, and then

I´d hold you tight
all through the starlit night
and we´ll dance, we´ll dance, like in trance
if we´ll get a chance
to a sweet and love filled romance
don´t you doubt me dear
I will be yours that´s clear
don´t you doubt me dear
I will be you so near!

It is to bad Elvis Presley is no longer with us; as soon as you started singing I could see him in a movie doing this; thanks for sharing!

Dani,

I like that one! You did a terrific job on the mixing of this.

Really like the melody. Your vocal is strong. I thought it could have been done a little faster - maybe 5 bpm...

Enjoyed it.

Hi Dani,

nice chords, vocals and mix.
I'm missing your harmonies.
Very enjoyable though.

Barbara Dennerleins concert is over. You decided not to
attend it?

That was an enjoyable 3:13. Time well spent and as always, Dani - vocals were spot on and another well written song of love.

Good job.

Hi, Guenter !:))

Thank you for your most kind
words ! I was a little afraid of
"destroying" this song with harmonies,
but I do miss them also like you !
I will have to do another tune
with lots of harmonies !:)))

Barbara, yes I missed her Karlsruhe
gig this year but I am seriously
pondering to come down next summer !
Besides, you had problems with a sore
back and I did not want to disturb you !

If you are ok next summer, I think
I will aim at coming over for the
concert !:))

Cheers

Your style is classic Frank Sinatra "crooner" style. Smooth stuff.

I would have pulled the steel guitar out and used it to "frost the cake" in a few places. More like spice than a main ingredient.

I like the modulation and how you used it.

Hi, Herb !:))

Thank you so much for your
kind words. Yes, you are right
that the pedal in fact disturbs
the melody in certain places !
It kinda overrides underlying
chords,and it would been better
to do as you say ! That probably
goes for Floyd´s comment on the
speed too !:))

Cheers
Dani

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
