First...every single one of seekers UT's,
good, bad, or indifferent is free to use.
Just great to have you folks use them...

NOW THAT SAID...
Boy oh boy is the preview going to help folks get more interest in
the UserTracks. Also makes my work a lot easier.
My sales are going to skyrocket...ROFLMAO... take note purple area.

Also the ability to load and use the UserTrack similar to Realtrack.
This removes substantial obstacle for using IMHO.

Thanks to the PG staff and "coders" in adding the preview and easier use of the UT.

For you folks who have never used a UT, check out the preview abilities.
You may be surprised

I know I asked b4 and you answered BUT I still haven't figured out how to get the user tracks to download. I'm pretty dense so step by step please. I go to the list and right click (using firefox browser) I do NOT have a save file option. All options are to deal with the link. I tried saving link as and get a ppg file.

Earl,

Just got in from a shopping trip.... Groceries, gas, other odds and
ends.

First do you have a Zip/Unzip program.

Win 7 does have it, but I also have 7Zip really nice freebie program.
Google and grab.

I will walk thru this bit more later today.
Still trying to get all my 2015 PG system squared away.

Lunch, nap, you, then zipping...

Earl,

Go to the UserTracks Forum listing # of UT you want, or solidrocks site listing and left click once.
This activates the download. Your Save screen should come up then.

And other members. First of all this only took me about 90 minutes to create.
Have done much nicer work, but the Screen capture with text overlay was new to me.
And editing text in at appropriate places.
No the background is not BIAB(ya a traitor).
This little Tuto was a good learning thing for me to do. Next go round
MAYBE nicer...

Watch a Tuto video with nice text overlay. In some ways was better than vocal.
Download UserTrack-Move To Usertrack folder. 108 meg mp4 format will stream for you.

Not supposed to ding you own work, but the pauses was my mind thinking of next logical step.
In the movies they have a scrip. This was fun anyway...

Hope this helps a bit.

ok you're not going to believe what I was missing. I didn't see the title at the top of the page that I needed to click on. It does work fine now and I will be able to get the user tracks over the next couple of weeks. Thanks a ton Frank

Glad your there. Enjoy

Seeker, Thanks for clearing all this up, and confirming that this is the way I have been working these files.

And for the OP, some of the older UT's put up by Seeker and others show the file to be downloaded as a .zip file instead of under the heading of "Title", just a FYI.

Del,

Earlier days was an oversight on my part.
Also for future posts with UT's will replace TITLE
with actual title.
UT creation, posting and using is part of a journey.

Del, am glad to hear your working with some of the UT's.

Have a good day.

Some of us are just a little bit lamer than others. All though I make a living in IT it seems to take me forever to learn some things. I've had BIAB for years and am just now learning how to really use it. The videos are a big help. I'm also going through the Groove3 videos and learning new stuff every day from that. Maybe sometime in the future I will get knowledgeable enough to answer some folks questions. Maybe, even et to the point of making my own user tracks!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
