Is there a way to turn off the demos when choosing a style?

Is there a way to turn off the demos when choosing a style? I'm not sure what it would do if you deleted the demo files, but that might be worth a test (move or rename them first, just in case). Also, perhaps you are doing it the way I usually do, just before I remember I shouldn't (when I don't need to hear the demo and know what I want): double-click on the name. This loads the demo. I would rather it loaded the style and exited the dialog. Instead, do a single click on the style and go down to OK at the bottom of the dialog.

Hi Victoria,
It sounds like you might be double-clicking on the style to me also. Doing this used to load the style and return the user to the chord sheet. That doesn't happen these days. When you double-click it will now play the demo for the style.
As Matt said, try a single-click on the style and then "OK" to exit back to the chord sheet.

There is also a setting for this "on double-click" in the StylePicker.

Oh - this is good! Thanks, Andrew. There are three options in the pull-down for double-click:
-Ok and close dialog
-Load style and play in your song (something that was asked for in another post!)
-Preview premade style demo (which appears to be the default)
As far as I can see, there is a checkbox to play the demos from your computer or the Internet, but no specific option to not play the demo at all; however choices one or two described above would have that effect.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
