You know the feeling when the café/pub/bar closes and you don't feel like leaving the place?
Here's some old school fun-rock&roll!

When I go (I'll go through the window)

When I go
I'll go through the window
When I go
I won't go through the door

Well you want me to go so just throw me out.
But I want you to know that I'll make it loud.
My friends even say that I adore
To go through the window and not through the door

The Band...

Fred,

Rockin'!!! And very entertaining...

Interesting all the way through. Good stops. Great Rock Yell!!!
Nice hot solo. Nice vocals and the harmonies are well done.

The ending is super cool.

You put a lot of work into this - and it shows!

(I would have liked the drums to be louder)

Great job. Enjoyed it!!!

Sounded like a tough one to do, but it was a ton of fun. Cool instrumentation all the way through and very good vocals. Nice job, it was a pleasure to listen to. Interesting ending, for sure.

I take it this is what
happens after one or two
too many bottles of "delirium tremens" (chuckle) !
Seriously speaking this is just
hilarious and at the same time
superbly done on all fronts !:))
I like your vocals and vocal harmonies

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Floyd,
Thank you for listening and opening the comments!
You're absolutely right, the drums drowned in the pool of sound. They seemed OK yesterday in the headphones, I guess I should always check through live speakers. Thanks for the remark, The remixed version is online :-)
Take care,
Fred

Hi Fred.

"You know the feeling when the café/pub/bar closes and you don't feel like leaving the place?"

I know that feeling VERY well. My husband and I are always the first to arrive at a party and the last to leave. It has become a standing joke.
Such a great tune. Good job

Wow! I know that took a lot of work.
It's one of the most effective straight
out rockers I've heard here. Really
cool vocals and lyric. Absolutely
a great arrangement and mix. It sounds
very good on my KRK's.

Love that ending!!

Hi Guenter,
The harmonies where a wink to Anne Marie, who did such great harmonies round Christmas. Hope she likes to smile
Thanks for your nice comment

Hi Fred,

you had me at the drum intro!

And the repetition of the title throughout the song makes for a VERY catchy "get stuck in your head" kind of groove. But I have to admit, there were moments when I started to fear that two lines in I had already heard all of the lyrics. Glad it didn't turn out that way. It worked very well!

I also really like the energy you managed to infuse into the song, and the live feel you introduced through the callouts and your selection of real tracks

I'm not as enthusiastic about the ending as everybody else seems to be. It's creative and different (which I like) but it also seems unnecessary and anticlimactic to me. But go with the majority on this one. I think the song is an extrovert's anthem, and I'm very much an introvert who is ready to leave long before the party's over. So it makes sense that being pulled back in the door by a faux ending would leave me feeling caught as I tried to sneak out early. wink

All in all I liked it very much, especially the energy and ear worm.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
