It works both ways with Mac & Win, before the Mac versions we use to get more Updates & Fixes and a new version mid year as well as the end of the year, but now since the Mac release we don't get that. Once the Win version is released a few fixes are done but then it's straight on to the Mac version.
I think it's interesting to see how something you may no longer get versus something we never had somehow translates into "works both ways" in the minds of the privileged majority. I say interesting, since being already a 'member' of a socially defined minority in my daily life, I can't really say I found this line of logic all that surprising Anyway, I certainly didn't intend this thread to turn into a philosophical "minority v. majority" debate, and if it makes you feel better, you're quite welcome to simply write me off as "the loud minority syndrome"
Just keep this in in mind: I'm not asking for anything more for us than what you have already got.

I have the Mac version AND I have the Windows version. It is a trade off, for me to have the Mac version I now get less Windows. As I said in another post: "they don't seem to have the time, they might only have one programer that has to do it all Biab, RealBand, Biab Mac, Power Tracks Pro Audio. . . and he probably gets stressed out with the pressure." I go to do something on the Mac but I can't because it don't have the same feature as on Win, then I can't do something back on Win because it's not fixed. It works both ways.
I go to do something on the Mac but I can't because it don't have the same feature as on Win, then I can't do something back on Win because it's not fixed. It works both ways.
Don't you see, those things you're not getting on Win are also not on Mac - but not the other way round! The Mac version is more or less just as buggy as Win overall, and if something is "not fixed" on Win it most certainly isn't on the Mac either.
So drop that "both ways" line already, thank you. Your elaboration just now was actually doing quite well there until you reverted back to that part.

Hey it works both ways for me but not for you because you don't have Win only Mac. This is NOT an attack ! win version has been here since 1845 they only started development on the Mac version a few years ago so they can't be identical over night ok. As I said before if it is too stressful use Parallels or boot camp. It is not the Old Mac vs Win#$% get over that, I have them both that is not an issue to me, I even use Linux. Loosen up man.

Right, there comes yet another - I'm inclined to say modification, but let's go with elaboration - almost to the point of now being a whole new statement from the original.

Nor did I ever say it was, it just reeked (have to make that past tense now, I s'pose) of that condescending "we're both on the same boat" vibe (it's that damn 'both'!). So maybe it's just poorly chosen words initially that set me off, I don't know.

To tell you the truth man I have no idea what you are going on about. BUT I will stick to Everything I said. But I do think it has been a mistake on your part to understand, it is also a mistake to back stab someone who has helped you many times. Maybe where you come from "Both Ways" is an insult, maybe it mean something else. Any I will drop this now and you can watch what happens this week.

This sentence makes absolutely no sense, neither grammatically nor semantically, but I guess that can happen when you're angry. I have to admit I did wonder for a bit what you actually meant to say... but only for a bit

Ok, now it's my turn to have 'no idea what you're on about'. How in the world is this single debate a 'back stabbing'?! If you're angry at me for having exposed your discriminative ways of thinking, then I'm afraid I can't take any credit for that. You did that all on your own.

Ok, I'm not quite sure why you felt the need to repeat your original speech all over again almost word for word, but I'm rather glad you did because it confirms I was actually right the first time around - you really are blaming us for taking things away from you by our very presence ("but now since the Mac release we don't get that.")! You really are using the same logic as that "Damn those women/blacks/homos/foreigners/cripples/etc for their 'equal rights' crap, taking away our jobs, lowering our pay & benefits, etc etc" nonsense that I've had to endure for my entire life!
So thank you for making my case for me.
