Hej. I've updated the 2014 version of BIAB to the new 2015 or tried to at least. During install of the downloaded file an error-message appears: Cannot rename file, file name is avim.exe. I tried several times, downloaded a new program-file but same result. At last I skipped the file and the 2015 version seems to work all right. Anyone who knows what that file does. It is located in C\bb\data\avim. I would hate to have to uninstall the program completely and start over. Anyone who have had this problem I would very much like to hear about it.

Yes, the file is related to a new feature in 2015 that lets you save your song as a video. I'm not sure why there would be a problem installing it... (1) After installation, do you actually see the file C:\bb\data\avim\avim.exe ? (2) Could you attach an image of that error message, or tell us what the entire message says?

No. That is the problem. I don't see the file. I can see the folder where it should be, but the folder is empty.The error as i recall it says: cannot rename file-file name is avim.exe. It also says the file is not located in the bb folder. If it only has to do with video it is not that important.
When the error first accured I installed the 2014 again, then the 2015, but the same error pops up.I could uninstall the complete program, but the uninstall command hold so many uninstalls that i don't know which one is for the program and which is for the real-tracks. It works without this file but it you want I can install it again and read the whole message

Hej again. I have another issue concerning BIAB 2015. The count in cannot change the sound. Allthoug I change the drum-sound to anoher sound the sound is the same. It sounds like it uses the rim of the snare drum. But I have chosen sticks. The drums are Funky Groovin 70's. If I change the drums to Jazz the sounds change, but still I cannot change the sound of my choice. I can change it in the menu, but the sound does not change.

Regarding the avim.exe issue - it may be that an anti-virus type program on your computer is preventing that file from being copied, because of a false positive. Try disabling the 'real-time' / 'active protection' in the security program's settings and running the Band-in-a-Box 2015 installer again, or add the bb folder as an exception if the software allows that.
Regarding the count-in issue - the count-in instrument can only be changed for MIDI drums, not RealDrums.

Midnight. Make sure you have the latest patch installed which is build 415. if you do not have that installed, get the full download and install it. http://nn.pgmusic.com/pgfiles/support/patches/bb2015_update_build415_full.exeThere was a problem with this feature that was fixed in a later patch.
