Happy Birthday Floyd and Tommy,

Enjoyed listening to the song, professional production as usual, and reminds me I have to do a bit of spring cleaning myself around here, being the hoarder I am.

Thanks to all who have commented on the guitar part. This song is another fine example of floyd's craftsmanship. He is just flat out a great songwriter, performer, arranger, and engineer. Happy Birthday brother and thanks for including me in our annual project. I went to the Florida Strawberry Festival yesterday and saw Ricky Skaggs in concert. I was able to talk with Andy Leftwich after the show. He of course is the Real Tracks fiddle and mandolin player and he assured me he has been listening to our creations. Thanks to all for the B'Day wishes. Tom

Tommy, your guitar playing sure did make it sound "live".. in fact, if you subtract out the vocals, there were many places where the song sounded like Fleetwood Mac to me... They have a signature exchange between the guitar, bass and drums, and this song mirrored that. Whether it was intentional or not, I don't know, but if you're trying to find common identification ground with an older audience, Fleetwood Mac is a good starting point. They are one of the few universally loved bands.

Pat, In light of the recent court cases involving Sam Smith/ Tom Petty & Robin Thicke, Pharrell/ Marvin Gaye's estate, I must state that in no way shape or form was Fleetwood Mac intentionally copied or even thought about during the composition of the guitar parts. However, it is an interesting observation. I hope that you will come to our defense if called upon in a court of law to do so. LOL, Tom

Happy birthday you Florida boys!!

Like Greg said we, the listeners, got the gift on this one. Two talented
forum fellows and BiaB made some incredible music with this piece.

Another pro studio sounding production surrounding a wonderful vocal,
a write chock full of great lines and a supporting lead guitar that is
right in the pocket and shows up when it can be most effective.

Just good stuff guys....and another one for our playlist!!

Yeah man, keep 'em coming.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GUYS. (Yes, it's a day late, but the thought is there!)

A big, BIG sound that hangs together beautifully. Plays well loud without breaking up and I mean I did play it LOUD.

What else can I say? Clever lyrics, great vocal, super guitar work, supremely professional all round.

You don't think the drums could have been louder, Floyd? (Ha)

Have a good year.

ROG.

Well, maybe it's weird weather - if you don't have any yet me commenting twice could likely cause atmospheric changes. LOL!

I've already said I love the song but I'm crazy about the chorus and those harmonies - high energy full out - what a GREAT sound.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
