Hello,

I would love to get some B3 Organ Soloist for Good Old Rockn Roll in some of my songs...

Like the solo that's in House of the rising sun by the animals or Gimme some lovin organ solo's...

Basicly some screaming B3 Organ solo's.....

The Organ Real Tracks we have now are very lame and could use a huge improvement....

Thanks
Horst

+1 for rockin' B3 solos. However, I think your request explains why it's a hard wishlist request to fullfill.

What do the organ tracks of "House Of The Rising Sun", "Gimme Some Loving", "Whiter Shade Of Pale", and so on have in common beside an organ? They are song specific.

It would be a most difficult task to design an organ RealTracks set that would (1) be generic, (2) inspiring and (3) rockin' enough to use in a cover of any of these songs.

On the other hand, PG has produced some really fantastic solos.

Rather than a generic solo, why not play the solo in MIDI? There are some great B3 samples out there, and you could "play", or "Step-sequence" exactly the solo you want.

Bob

Are you using a DAW to record?..

A lot of times I put use Logic Pro.. I highlight the the spot Iwant to solo , plus a measure before and after.. I use auto mute and create new track.. I will play the solo over and over, gradually finding my way to what I want.

Don't forget finger glisses, and and palming.. You can also slow the song down to a more comfortable playing speed.. When working on a song.. I always scour YouTube.. and looks for songs to give me ideas and inspirations..

I then take the different tracks, mute out bad notes.. find ideas that work well, sometime move them.. until I find something suitable.. Sound of of the Organ is extremely important.. that can make all the difference in the world..

I use a Tyros 5 , it has some decent organs.. I also bout a 'ventilator foot box".. It is one of the best Leslie simulators out there short of the real thing.. A lot of it is feel.. Speed, is not always the answer.. Some of the best songs, have a strong motif.. "Smoke on the Water.. House of the rising Sun, Jump by Van Halen.. etc.. Don't be afraid to try a lot of ideas. The beauty of a computer is you can always go back.. A lot of my best solos. I realize are ones a did a few days before, but didn't think much of.. Again. comping a great solo from several takes. can yield great results.

With the UseTracks you are best using RealBand as you can generate/re-generate up any section you like.
The problem with UT at the moment they don't play the A or B sections where they should and the Stereo UT render to mono that makes them sound #$^%$%.
This B3 is in Stereo but will sound %^## in Mono.
The B sections are playing in the A.
Just highlight the section you need then UT > Favorites to regen.

Here is the UT you can try, it is just something I whipped up.
I included the notation in the SGU's so you can change and add things.
You can click on Bar Setting F5, and get the UserTracks Bar Settings when you open the SGU's.
Endings don't always generate so just highlight the ending and regen.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
