Janice and Bud chose to cover Need You Like a hole in the Head Tommy kindly provided the wonderful guitar work and also did the mixing, I provided the song and the harmonies and everybody provided the photos. What a team! Thank you Bud, Janice and Tommy. Your contribution is much appreciated! Enjoy this next song on this wonderful collaboration journey!

WOW. I do like the way the song ended. And a good video to go with the song, but it seemed to be over too soon. Can't listen to that song just once. Joanne, Tom, Janice and Bud, you ALL have excelled yourselves on this wonderful song. The writing and words from Joanne, the mixing and guitars from Tom and the main vocals from Janice all gelled together in an impressive way. A good mix Tom. Then that special Bud treatment. Did I say I liked that a lot? My song sounds so different in such a sea of excellence. What a project Joanne. Alyn

Hey folks, Janice will be making responses to y'all's kind remarks. I just wanted to mention that other than a few minor tweaks and engineering Janice's vocal I was just along for the ride on this one. Kudos to Joanne, Janice and Tom!!!

Excellent on every level. This is the epitome of what a User Showcase song should be in my opinion. It showcases everything about the writing, performing, talent, skill and production and 'fun' we all enjoy and employ with Band in a Box.
Great job guys. Liked this one a lot.

What a nice relaxed swing this has. Very country sound. Vocals, harmonies, instruments, mix, photos, all great. Had a few listens. Sounded better each time. Cheers.

Good collaboration, and it was fun to see photos of the guilty parties and their various guitars.

Hi All. I am still battling to keep up with this whirlwind and probably won’t have time to do much listening to other songs till after this is done. I thank each and every artist who has been working so hard on this. I think we have something really special here. Joanne, Tom, Janice and Bud, you ALL have excelled yourselves on this wonderful song. My song sounds so different in such a sea of excellence.
Thank you Alyn. This really was a team effort. I think this project has shown how different each song can sound and it is totally amazing how the artists have, without exception, selected songs that they can make shine. (When I record and mix my own songs they all start sounding the same!). All the songs for the project are excellent (and there are still a few more in the pipeline). I love this song Great job to all of you! Thank you Ognian I decided to burn my guitar and music the first time I heard this beautiful little lady sing. Donald – Janice’s vocal was up to her usual very high standard. Thank you. This band sounds so smooth. Nicely done. Vic Vic – Thank you and your compliments are accepted on behalf of the four of us. Another fantastic entry! And job well done by everyone! Thank you Lawrence just along for the ride on this one. Bud . Bud, some ride it’s been so far! Bud forget to mention the fact that he has been manning all the emails that have been flying back’n’forth on this as well. Thank you Bud! This is the epitome of what a User Showcase song should be in my opinion. It showcases everything about the writing, performing, talent, skill and production and 'fun' we all enjoy and employ with Band in a Box. Charlie Charlie – I couldn’t agree more. What a nice relaxed swing this has. Very country sound. Vocals, harmonies, instruments, mix, photos, all great. Had a few listens. Sounded better each time. Cheers. Thank you Richard Good collaboration, and it was fun to see photos of the guilty parties and their various guitars. Ha ha. Thank you David. I also think it is a fun video.

Hi Joann. Another bullseye !!! You've got quite a collab project going here, and no PG collab would be complete without expanding your A-team to include the J and B/Tommyad crew. This song was the perfect one for them. Musically, it worked great (playing/singing/arrangement), and the video was fun (Janice on the mountain bike-heard she can fly, and Tom with and without the long locks. Fun to see some pics of these folks we communicate and share so much with almost daily in their "natural environments") Enjoyed it a lot!! Take care. Greg

Hi Josie, Janice, Tommy and Bud
From the very first note I knew this was not going to disappoint.
Really enjoyed the feel, and the great lyrics. The team did a top job with the chorus
The steel fitted perfect.
Loved the surprise ending. Interesting choice to end on a unexpected almost discordant note!
Top job everyone.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
