Hello everybody, Most of the times we write a song and start looking for a nice video, or pictures to go with it. This time we've done it the other way around. Looking for videos in the public domain, that could be of any use, we discovered a video made by Carlos Vieira, which was posted on Mazwai.com. We liked it so much, that we've made a song to go with this video (which we have modified a bit). We sent the link to Carlos Vieira, who let us know he liked it very much. Very pretty song!! Instrumentation was perfect-love that dreamy electric. Vocals were up to your usual standard: clear, clean, and perfectly processed. Video was quite beautiful. Really nicely done!! Take care. Greg

The song and video really worked great together and another well written, production and performance. Amazing talent from both of you. Carlos Vieira should be elated.

Rob & Anne-Marie
Another fantastic tune. The style is perfect, the vocals superb.
The video clip and music are fantastically collaborative. The instrumental fits so well.
Thanks for another great tune.

Traces of Dire Straits and yeah... this is good. Haunting.
Good job on the recording and writing.

Yes, he certainly should be pleased. Just about every time I think about creating a vid you post one and I think...naaaah don't think I will!
Writing the song to work with the pre-existing video has got be a different experience. Letting the video drive the writing experience is conceptually something I'd never thought about. Suffice it to say that it worked and worked wonderfully well.
The word that comes to mind is "ethereal." The whole audio production just melds into the video so well. Seems like they were meant for each other.
We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hi Rob and Anne-Marie.
A beautiful song and as others have said already, perfectly matched to the video image.
From the vocals to the choice of Realtracks, the arrangement and the mix, it's all extremely professional.
I'm sure that this wasn't an easy project, but you've accomplished it with distinction.
ROG.

Rob and Anne-Marie,
This is such a great idea! I was thinking about this possibility just a couple of days ago. Poking around looking for available clips - first time for that, I saw a couple that I thought would be good if you had the right song... or if you wrote one to fit it. Inspirational! What a terrific way to find new song ideas... with a "built-in" video when you are done...
Beautiful song. Wonderful production. Lovely vocals.
Another winner! And one heck of a video!!

R & A-M, Writing a song to match a video is indeed a unique concept. If anyone could pull it off it would be you two. And you have! Very nice production all around. Tom

Thank you Greg! Yes, the pop dreamy Brent realtrack never lets you down, it's so versatile. This is about the fifth song we are using it in Rob & Anne-Marie

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
