First it would be great if we could seek styles by the "number of times played", that is line them up from most played to least. This way there is no way to loose a style you love.
If a user goes around auditioning different styles there is no way to build a "compare list", so finding a style you left to try another can be very challenging indeed. If you were to say trial 20 styles in different genres, you could not re-find the 6th style you tried, if you later decide this was the right one, unless you wrote them all down or something. If Styles changed colour when they were clicked upon and remained in that colour until the dialogue box is closed, this would make things easier.
Please make the columns clickable/sortable by.
Have a rating system, so one can mark styles according to what you think is good for you. Perhaps this can be combined with favourites.
I find that even though I never delete favourites, the often disappear. I have never worked out why, perhaps its when the program upgrades. I find the current system confusing perticularly as the "Add Fav" button works differently in different dialogues. It would be good to have all kinds of favourites under one view.

+1 There are some neat ideas here. For the first idea, I'd prefer a column with a number that indicates the number of times a style was highlighted AND the "OK" button was clicked.
I would really appreciate the ability for me to rate styles.
There is both a Favorites and Recently Used styles dialog available. Does the Recently Used option provide some answer?
The problem with the recently used styles option is that it soon goes out of kilter. If you go through a lot of styles, seeking something new then these become your recently used styles, even though you just contemplated them and then dismissed them. Recently used styles and most played styles are logically different. I think the latter is more useful.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
