Hi , it's all in the title,

in live condition why have we to look desperately to
the VERY small area which counts the number of choruses ?

The VERY small box is not easy to find in the forest of informations
of the window.

Could it be possible (please I mean it) to have the possibility to edit a
personal sheet where we can choose the display of the objects we need ?

The actual sheet with the chords AND the repeats (in red like the Windows
version) plus the choruses count down (the biggest the best) start an end of
loop with BIG signals.

BiaB is made to help musicians, so help us more, please ... we pay for it !

Regards.

Duke

Hi Duke

There's a concept video here,

It uses a Progress Bar to see the progression of a song, and has other ideas similar to what you have mentioned in selecting what is displayed.

Maybe this is useful?

If so, give it a vote on this link

VT, that was from way back in your troublemaking rebel days... Hard to believe it was just a few months ago. You've come a long way. grin

Now here is hoping some of those great GUI ideas are being worked on in the PG laboratories.

Hear! Hear!
Yes, I expect all leave has been cancelled until every one of these great features are fully implemented. Staff will work long hours, even weekends. Staff will work for free. Staff will skip lunch breaks. Staff will...
(Whoops, nearly slipped back into trouble-making rebel mode. Apologies... crazy )

The video was part of a thread on this forum, where it did not require YouTube to view. It received both attention and support, and was acknowledged by Dr. Gannon. I thought it was terrific.

+1 on the video and the suggestion. The only thing that I would change on the video would be to have a much bigger chord entry window permanently displayed on the main screen.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi guys,
thanks for your concern and sorry to read you
so late.
I saw the video (one thumb up more) : Great !!!
I agree with Mario, the "field" for chords editing is
really too small.
So may we have any hopes for our needs Dr Gannon ?

+1 for the key word in that sentence! (I took the liberty of stylishing it in the quote, just in case people wouldn't spot it on their own accord wink )

Thank goodness words aren't knives.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
