Callie listed a pretty neat feature of BIAB today with the Soundtrack for videos. I was just playing with some recent drone video footage - So I made a quick video and a BIAB Soundtrack to try out this not so new feature I wasn't aware of before Callie's post.
My home is visible in the center of the video screen beginning around the 0:19 mark of the video. At least the roof is....
Hey Charlie. That is awesome. Im going to have to check out the sound track for videos.

Thanks Joanne. You should check it out. It is a really neat feature. You may find uses for more than just video soundtracks! I did because it's royalty free songs that are easily customized in many ways. You are able to choose themes and moods to fit your project. You make your choices and Biab creates a complete song with chords, tempo, key.
I had a lot of fun playing with the feature yesterday. Just wish I would have had some quality video that actually had purpose rather than what I used to experiment with.
I do the exact same thing! I was going to ask 2 days ago if anyone else was into quads/ "drones" because I just came off of the fall season here.
I'm flying a yuneec q500 4k, which I'm sure you know is pretty similar to what you are flying with the chroma.
Cool! Cool! Cool! One more thing to talk about on the forum!
I am amazed at how much the right music really does create the feel of the video. SOOOOOOOO many people have terrible music OR the prop/motor sound. Yikes!
BIAB is the PERFECT choice for music for these videos!

TEMPO TANTRUM: What a lead singer has when they can't stay in time.
Hi Caaron. It was my intention to purchase the yuneec q500 4k but I also wanted to by from a brick/mortar store since I did not have any experience with flying quads and felt like a local store would help with questions and concerns better. The local vendor had the Chroma in stock ---
I was able to get a demonstration and completed a test flight before I purchased it. Helped the confidence a bit.
I hit trees on my first two flights but escaped with minor damage that I easily repaired myself & no replacement parts needed. It has been smooth flying since.
"BIAB is the PERFECT choice for music for these videos!" Yep, 100%.
Soundtrack is incredibly easy and versatile for videos.
In the case of this video, I made the Soundtrack with no video in mind and then just pulled a video of similar length off my computer in order to follow the steps to create a video, soundtrack and get it posted to YouTube and here on the forum.
Thanks VideoTrack. It was a lot of fun and I think its a really nice feature. Funny that its been around since 2007 and I only heard of it yesterday. I'm glad Callie took time to post the information about it.

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
