This is our version of this seventeenth century ballad, also known as Child Ballad 126. The song file was available in the EverythingPak 2015. But we did a lot of editing on it, using RTs and Soundfont midi files. If you listen closely you'll notice that, with every verse an instrument is added. In that era songs tended to repeat the verse again and again (they lacked a real chorus). In this case there were 12 verses, we chose to use only 8.

Like others have said the build was very effective, the vocals were great and the imagery well illustrated the period. We would like to add that the very interesting selection of RT's not only sounded fine but further shows the amazing versatility of BIAB in the hands of talented musicians.
Terrific arrangement and vocals/harmonies. Love how you layered it as it goes along. To me it has a wonderful theatrical vibe like a folk song in a broadway play.
