We had a discussion on this a year or so ago, and Dr. Gannon participated. My recollection is that there is no reason why it won't work.

I'm not sure how many gig the wma version is these days. The size of the WMA version would depend on the number of realtracks and add-ons. My C: drive version (smallest) is 13 Gig. My official current Everything Pak Hard Drive backup version (with everything I've ever got) is 108 gig. Both the above use wma realtracks .. That's a pretty big range!

Okay cool, that should all fit on the SD card.
So 108gig is the space used on the HD or the drive size.
Not sure if having them on a fast SD or a usb 3.0 128gig stick would be faster.

I copied my 2016 drive (UltraPlusPak) to a USB 3.0 128 GB flash drive. 14.6 GB of 119 GB still free. Although I haven't used it much, it seems to work fine. I suspect it's a bit slower, but haven't done a comparison.
Got my flash drive at Costco for only around $30. Amazon has the "mini size" version now for about the same. It's a SanDisk Ultra Fit.

There is a guideline in hard drives that there must be about 15% free space as a minimum to avoid thrashing. I don't know if flash memory devices have a similar caution.

Right click your BB folder, click properties, and wait. I think this will give you an approximation of how many bytes you will need.
It will probably take up more room on a flash drive, as it is likely to be formatted using the old FAT method.
Most USB drives are 3.0 now, but you might be able to find a close out on a 2.0 if you need to save money.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
