This is my attempt at an Instrumental.
I have been learning the accordion and this song just happened as I was practising.

I used the style above which I think is the only waltz style in the Xtras style list.

Hope you enjoy.

Hi George,

Loved your instrumental and it was so refreshing to hear an accordion instrumental.
We had an accordionist in my old worship band and I always loved the rich sound it makes.

A very enjoyable listen.

Thanks
Rec

Hi George,

I like listening to original music .

When I was a teenager my first instrument was the piano accordion and the sound it creates to my ears is always happy.

You are creative. Keep it up and keep sharing your talent here.

Sorry, I must ask, what happened in the ending to your song ? it just stopped dead ??? did you run out of recording tape ???

George,

It's good to see you post a song again smile It's been too long since your last one!

I enjoyed this a lot. I love the accordion. You made me feel like I needed to go and buy one just so I could play again. (It's been a few decades since I last picked one up.)

A really pleasant listen.

All the best,
Noel

Hi w,

Thank you for your nice comments.

Yes the ending just cut out as I asked Biab not to have any ending,
my mistake.

I have repaired the song but I don't know how to replace the song on Soundcloud.

Hi Noel,

Yes it's been a while since I posted anything on the forum.

Health has been the problem, but onwards and upwards.

If you are interested, I used a Roland Fr7 accordion which is a digital accordion.
It has 40 x 14 registers which means you can select most accordion sounds from around the world.
It also has midi output.

I think you will understand this - that the song just happened,
as though I had been tapped on the shoulder from above.

Thank you Noel.

George

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
