Hello, everybody

When I was young, I wrote a song for my friends’ wedding.
This is the remake of the song with RealTracks.
Comments encouraged.
Have at it.

Best Regards.

Summary of lyrics

Your uneasy feeling reaches me through your hand I clench
Please don’t worry the direction of our passion

A new life is starting from today
I want to deepen our eternal bonds of love

Let’s begin to row our boat among the impossible dream
This boat floating in the Milky Way is filled with the brilliance

There will be a sunny day but also a stormy day of quarrelling
But our love will pass in piece as time goes by

Let’s believe our sincerity and our hearts will not be changed
Let's overcome the time of tears together with our love

Let’s begin to row our boat among the impossible dream
Let’s follow the dream without hesitation
There will be nothing to fear
Our journey has just begun yet

Hi Shigeki,

Very nice to hear you singing by yourself this time!
Very suitable for a wedding.

The melody is very pretty, and I love the Oboe. It's great to hear your voice as well!

What are you using for the string sounds?

Thanks,

Shigeki,

I agree with all of the comments. It's a great song with a very lush orchestration and production.

I particularly like the strings. I see that you use EastWest Symphonic Orchestra which is now on my wish list :-)

Good job.

Hello, Rob & Anne-Marie, Mathew, Robert, Josie, Receder, Scott, floyd

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
And many thanks for all the positive feedback!
I much appreciate your kind comments for my vocal and arrangement.
I am so glad.

Mathew and Receder,
I often use EastWest Symphonic Orchestra in my songs.
Because the sounds are rich and gorgeous and it is very easy to use.
The adjustment of volume is available by velocity and the changes of articulations by keyboard switch.
But there are also the weak points.
The crescendo and decrescendo of long notes cannot get the changes of tones.
The dry sounds are not available because the sounds already contain the hall reverb.
The number of string players are too many to be suitable for the chamber ensemble or pop strings.

I would like to introduce my vocal again.
Thank you again to all.

Best Regards.

That's my biggest issue with the East West library as well as there are no mic feeds for the dry sounds.

I just renewed my subscription to Composer Cloud last night so I'm excited to learn how to get Symphonic Choirs to work with the lyrics I want the choir to sing. smile

Do you use any special Reverb plugins? I like Lexicon and a friend just gave me his license of Valhalla and it is incredible. I also use QSpaces which sounds amazing too but isn't as versatile as I'd like.

Thanks,

Mathew

Hello, Will, Janice & Bud, Greg and Alyn

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen and comment.
I much appreciate your continuous supports.
And many thanks for your kind comments to my vocal.
I am so glad.

Mathew,
I often use Waves Trueverb as a reverb plugin for many years.
Because it is very natural and easy to use with many presets.
You are also a big fun of EastWest sounds, aren't you?
Certainly I am a big fun.
I also own EastWest Symphonic Choirs, which sounds are very beautiful, but it is a little bit difficult to give words to voices.
It is necessary the straight and whole playback without stopping in the middle of the music.
Otherwise, the words will slip off from the music.
I think it is much easier to let vocaloid sing with words.
The following link is my past post using EastWest Symphonic Choirs, please drop in if you like.

I would like to sing my songs by myself again.
Thank you again to all.

Best Regards.

Shigeki Adachi, this is really well presented. I liked the dynamics in your vocal.

The arrangement using real tracks is absolutely superb.

Very enjoyable.

Shigeki Adachi,

Wow!!!! Your arrangement of the strings is incredible. They don't simply play, they soar.... absolutely beautiful. Your expertise in harmony shines on this production. You've done a stunning job on creating, arranging and producing this.

Also, I agree with floyd.... your vocals are great. You definitely should sing more often.

All the best,
Noel

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
