I'm wondering what kind of shows people are going to in their communities. If you feel inspired to post a youtube video of the performer(s) I'd love to see it! Also a great way to expose ourselves to new artists and music!
I was fortunate to see this artist play live last night in Victoria, BC. Wow! If she comes through your town/city I'd suggest checking it out. She is known as the Archival Song Keeper.

Yes, Peia is an artist to been seen in person. Her live performance was spell bounding.

ZZ always puts on a good show. I've seen them 3 times through the years. The song "Beer Drinkers" was always a crowd pleaser in our shows. As a 3 piece rock/country band, we did quite a bit of "Top".
As far as recent shows.... can't say I've been to a live show in recent years.

They were pretty great to see! In the past, ZZ Top isn't a band I would go to a venue for.. but it was hard to pass up - they played in town, there was a "Groupon" with some great pricing, and my boyfriend absolutely loves them! (he loves their music & is inspired by their beards...)
I wish I could find a video of their "choreography" - you obviously wouldn't go to ZZ and expect to see some amazing dance moves, but I really got a kick out of the synchronized moves they had!
It has been a few years since I've been to a major concert, however I do go to a few smaller shows every year. We have an old movie theater here that has been converted to a music venue, acoustics are great and not a bad seat in the house. They mostly book blues acts. Last show I saw there was Angel Forrest, very well known for performing Janis Joplin songs, but I prefer her original material. Here is one:

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
