I have the BIAB 2014 Everything Pack. Frankly, it has more than enough RealTracks, Styles, etc than I'll probably ever need.
So, I'm considering just getting the 2017 Pro Upgrade ($69). If I install it over my 2014 installation will I still have access to all of the Real Tracks, Styles, etc that I have now? Or will I only be limited to the number of RT's, Styles etc that come with "Pro"?
Are there any drawbacks in pursuing this strategy other than not getting the "full" set of new MIDI supertracks, RTs, Styles, Soloists, Melodists, etc?

Yes to all the RT etc you already have. Pro only gives you 2017 updates to BB.

No drawbacks except you won't have everything they have offered over the last three years. It is recommended to install new versions over old, precisely because you will have everything you have ever bought.

Actually, no, I meant the bonus paks in the intervening years. You will not have those, but you certainly will have all your existing RealTracks, RealDrums and MIDI plus whatever comes with your new upgrade. Are we answering your question clearly?

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
