Have any of you used online session singers? I have some projects that need backup harmonies, and the convenience and low cost of online is appealing, due to the simple nature of the projects. I tried airgig, but so far no luck. The first guy I tried turned out to be fake, and haven't heard from the second. Have any of you had good experiences you could recommend?
Certainly if any of you offer this service I'd love to hear from you. Budget is tight, but I can pay a reasonable fee. Volunteers always welcome.
Voices I need: Bluegrass 8 bar chorus harmony/straight(male)
Irish pub song sing along crowd voices (male/female...to sound live, not studio pro)
Any advice appreciated.

Take a listen to the singers here. If you like what you hear, PM the person and ask.

We have quite a few folks here who are often willing to participate at no cost on "non-commercial" projects just for the fun.

I've had a number of folks sing with me and I've also sang and played on more than a few other people's projects.

A good way aside from asking through PM is to post the song and ask for help with the BGV or whatever.

Hello Brian,

If it's studio vocals you need (no live sessions), you could try us. We'd be more than happy to provide background or lead vocals for your projects.
We've posted over 60 songs on this forum through the years in all kinds of styles. You can do a quick RnAM-search here on the forum.
Or, you could check out our We Sing Your Song website

Here's a couple of our songs to give you an idea:

Hard believing
Little Young pretty
Surrender

Send us a PM if you're interested.

Rob & Anne-Marie

We are Rob Meulman and Anne-Marie Bovenkamp from The Netherlands.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
