Hi guys, here's my first post of this year. It's a little out of my regular Jazz path but I kind of liked it so here it goes, somewhat what I think is a sort of Avant Guard Jazz which I sometimes don't quite underestand, but anyway, I give you Autum Sky Style is WLZMODAL.STY (Waltz Modal - Slow Modal Jazz 3/) BassCustom Synth is Synth/Plugin Loaded (DIV Acoustic Bass) DrumsCustom Synth is Synth/Plugin Loaded (Addictive Drums) PianoCustom Synth is Synth/Plugin Loaded Style MIDI Instruments are : Acoustic String Bass (33), Acoustic Piano (1), Addictive Keys) RealTracks in song: ~494:Trumpet, Jazz Ballad Sw 085 RealTracks in song: 2397:Sax, Tenor, Soloist JazzWaltzEric Sw 110 RealTracks in song: 2801:Sax, Tenor, Background CroonerBalladLow Sw 060 (1TrackHornSection) RealTracks in song: 2597:Trumpet, Background CroonerBigBandLow Sw 110 (1TrackHornSection) MIDI Drums :33Jazz Drums (33)

Thoroughly interesting Mike. Great capture of the discordant and subtle styles by mixing 3/4 and 4/4.

Very nice. It's both creative and different. Interesting rhythmic feels.
We enjoyed it!

Thanks you all for the comments. Kind of an experiment for me, in fact I just wrote another one in the same feel. I might create a whole CD with it. Keep your ears open.

This is quite good Mike. It sounds like something that Miles and Coltrain would do in an after hours jam session.
Good work here!
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
