synths commonly have two envelope retrigger modes.

one is full retrigger, where a new note will start the envelope attack all the way over from zero.

the second is legato, which doesn't retrigger the envelope on new notes, and keeps playing through the envelope until you fully let go of all notes.

but a third is called multitrigger. this is kind of a hybrid between the two, and the standard envelope behavior of old analog monosynths. a new note will retrigger the envelope, but the attack will start rising from the value that the envelope was just at

this is kind of confusing to describe, so I've made a video demonstrating this behavior.

notice how envelope 1 multitriggers, but 2 and 3 are full retrigger only.

I program a lot of monosynths (bass, lead, etc) and really need at least an amp and filter envelope (so at least two) that are capable of multitrigger so it will behave authentically like the old analogs did.

are there any plans to add the ability to switch Serum envelope behavior between full retrigger and multitrigger? the code for each is obviously already in there.
