I've Got You Here is one we wrote a while ago. An upbeat set of lyrics lead that are possibly a little more topical now than when written. Vocal & Lyric – Leon I played some guitar and sang a little. Leon, those are some interesting lyrics. Well sung. Peter, good guitar work and arrangement. Maybe a tad too loud. I don't know what this came in at but most masters are at -8 to -10 RMS. Then again it's early. Good one. Tom

Peter/Leon,
A clever write. Well sung...
Good arrangement. The horns work really well. The vocal seems a bit too "up-front" and the guitar (fills and solo - which are nice!) are a bit too low.
Cool song.

Hello, Peter
The melodies of the guitar at Intro., Interlude and ending are very catchy. And the chord progression there (C-Am-F-G7) is the royal road of the pops. The straight lyrics are very favorable. The chord progression at "I've got you", C to E7 is very nice. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

Hey guys, as floyd mentioned that is indeed a clever write - not over intellectualized (is that a word ) just genuinely clever and very accessible. The vocals are nicely performed and mixed. As always your guitar is not "just there" but, rather, the solo is expressive and the fills do their thing. And then there is the upbeat message that is square in Janice's wheelhouse. She read the lyric before we listened the other day and said "yeah....I like that!" We both do....the whole package. J&B

Good song, enjoyed the lyrics and vocals!
Great job on the guitar also, loved the solo. I thought the volume could have come up a little during the fills, but didn't take away from the enjoyment.
Nice looking Les Paul BTW!
