Another W. W. Walford and Wm. Bradbury PD Hymn Sweet Hour of Prayer (Inst) Some kind of gradual transformation in my musical tastes has taken place over the past 20 years. It is safe for me to say I now prefer real home made music to professionally produced. I didn't really notice the change. Looking back, I can see that I have listened less to CD and radio over the years, and more to self produced material. Oh, I still like to listen to commercial music, enjoy it. This is not some dramatic announcement, just a simple statement of fact. This Sweet Hour of Prayer was done as follows: Track #1 BB backing in '15 Hank Real Accoustic Bass and Guitar. Guitar track #2 Fairly free form melody Guitar track #3 Accompanying track #1 on same guitar, trying to fill out and enhance Track #2 Transfer to Sony Studio Cut down to 3:20 Haven't posted for a while because I was working on this workflow.

Thanks, Kenny. On one hand, it is a poor man's finger picking, since each track is flat picked. On the other hand, the opportunity to accompany the first track, something made possible by multi track recording, presents creative possibilities. Thanks for the listen and the kind words. (ed)

Thanks, Scott.
They laughed when I came home with a Zack Wylde Wah Wah Pedal. Scott, you are one I have been able to keep up with during this period of preoccupation by virtue of following you on Soundcloud. Soundcloud has its act together, eh? I commented on "Scott's Tune" but, I tell ya, Spring Break is a winner.
Ya gotta learn yer way around that Wah Wah. What sounds at first like the old crybaby is now a very sensitive processor. It is also somewhat note and octave specific. One of those sqwawks may only occur in one fret.
It's a 6/8, whatever that may mean. I break it into two 3/4s.
Intro: C C/Am D7/G C V1 C C F F C C G G C C F F C C G C CH: C C F F C C G G C C F F C C/Am D7/G C

Thanks, you guys. It is coming along, isn't it? Still a ways to go. A few annoying reds in there. Main thing I think is I am getting it down to a workflow.
Hey, how about that Band in the Box Soundcloud channel ! Thanks, whereever you are.
