You can watch the main demo video on the web page. The demo and some applications of this software look more suitable towards electronic dance music, but I'm sure you can get creative with it in other genres. The video shows how to quickly lay song parts down and export the final MIDI tracks to your DAW of choice.

I watched all three videos and scanned the manual only; I did not DL the demo, don't need to as I like BiaB.
One feature I like is the ability to label parts of your song verse, chorus etc. I would like to see that in BaiB in place of section A, B, etc.
I liked the minimize finger movement options with the chord voicing options.
I like the piano demo and thought it would be nice to have something like this in BiaB to spice up tracks. Almost like super midi tracks.
This software points to the fact that there are other options to BiaB. To a beginning musician this may be more appealing. Easier interface with quick results. A more experienced musician would, I hope, look at the various options and pick BiaB for its in-depth abilities.

Sundog is great don't get me wrong but then I found RapidComposer after that, it has vst and standalone. It is the same price at the moment with lots more features $50 standard version and $139 for the full http://www.musicdevelopments.com/shop.html
I am very impressed with RapidComposer. Things like libraries of chord progressions and patterns make it very BIAB-like! And I love the feature that suggests chords that work best. For someone like me, who is not a formally trained musician with no desire to become one, these shortcuts really improve my experience!

I watched the promo video and have to say I saw some great innovation with the way the user interacts with the product. I though the interface was quite streamlined and presented information in a consistent format.

No I didn't get you wrong. I got a Sundog email from a friend so I checked it out; I usually don't check programs like this out that thoroughly. However you peeked my interest and checked out RapidComposer and I totally agree with you, i.e. lots more features.
I believe that both products indicates that BiaB could have some serious competition in the coming years.

I agree considering how simplified music has become and it's only getting worse or better depending on your age.
Biab is pretty sophisticated musically. I came on board maybe 12 years ago, then it was mostly jazz which is why I started using it. Jazz isn't simple. Over the years, Biab has morphed into a lot of country, folk and classic rock. Much simpler chords and chord structure than jazz and to be fair, the jazz stuff has been upgraded too.
Now the music industry is a lot of really simple pop, rap/modern R&B and EDM stuff. One or two basic chords and a whole lot of synth work and real simple machine looped rhythms. You don't need Biab for that, it's overkill.
The good news is the overall music scene is huge with lots of niche areas where those older (or classic) styles will be relevant. I'm guessing it will be enough to still support PGM.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
