Happy Birthday Eddie and congrats on your b-day present!

I can see you up on top of it in a lawn chair with a guitar and amp.

Congrats Eddie! Happy Birthday as well.

Now, I suggest heading out this way. There's a great campground at the Air Force Academy - If I recall correctly you are a veteran; which this campground is only open to vets (as I believe most AF based campgrounds are). We'll record something live together - your choice of 'safe for work' songs.

Also, part of the benefits of Colorado Springs. Humidity low, night-time lows of 60s typical throughout the summer. Nearly zero mosquitoes - haven't seen one yet this year. Great scenery from anywhere in town.

Jeez, Eddie... did they know your age when they gave you a 10 year loan?

Please knock first (give a heads up) .. if someone unfamiliar just shows up here, the welcoming party is, well, a little less welcoming.

This includes the canines. Unexpected visitors can put them on edge.
I'd love to see you (probably for about an hour <grin>)
But I'd like it more if I knew you were coming.

Am I different than most?

As far as the "about an hour"? No, you are pretty much with the majority there.

You are pretty safe though, living in That State Up North and all....

suggested first trip: Lake George NY, July 25, to hear Matt Finley's concert! As a bonus, you get to meet a couple of additional forum buddies!

Eddie,

I just saw this on youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RnbgpsDwL0

I hope they are wrong about legislation to make full-time RV living illegal.

Yeah I saw that too. Pippi was kind of overreacting about some very specific conditions where living in an RV would be illegal. It had a lot to do with residence approaching permanent status in one place. That has been going on a while. If they did that, half of Oklahoma and 3/4 of Florida would vanish... OR VANish as the case may be.

Sitting here at home waiting for a call. I went to pick it up today and the generator didn't start. They came out all happy to tell me that it was a stuck float and they rebuilt the carb so it was fine and I wouldn't have ot wait for the new carb arriving today via UPS. My comment was exactly this. "Well, if you had already ordered a carb, you knew it was bad. Were you going to send me out of here with a defective carburetor?"

Loudest silence EVER.

So I told them that if the float stuck once it is likely to stick again, so I want the new carb. Thus the waiting at home....

I think that they are starting to understand that if you threw me into a pit with a wolverine, I would come out wearing wolverine skin shoes.

Seems a great Wagon Eddie so good luck with the house sale and then all your travels.

You're a braver man than me, I like the security of four sturdy walls and a very comfortable bed to fall back on, especially when sickness comes as it does to all of us eventually.

But then everyone is different a lot of people love living in a mobile home.

Good luck in the months ahead, and share those pics as we all want to come along with you!

smile

Eddie, you might want to consider attending Guitar Town in Copper Mountain, CO. All free. Tommy Emmanuel is headlining the acoustic day on Saturday. Not sure who is headlining electric day on Sunday.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
