Is it not possible to find a simple style with alternating Bass strummed guitar, probably with drums and bass?

Could you be more specific? What kind of music are you looking for?
One tip: if you are auditioning a style that's close to what you want and find it too "busy", load it anyway. Then go to the Mixer, right click on the name of the patch for one instrument (like bass) and bring up the RealTracks picker dialog. Look for a checkbox that says "Simpler". Check it, regenerate the song, and see if you like it better.

You might check some of the Campfire styles.
I think, for most BIAB users we spend a significant amount of time trying different styles before settling on a few then choosing one for a particular song. You can use the style picker to filter the styles down to a specific genre and type in a popular song that might be similar to the song you are working on to filter it down even further. As you listen to various styles try to listen for only the stuff you want while attempting to ignore the piano, electric guitar, etc... From there you can mute the instruments you do not want. But just remember that the strummed guitar part you are looking for might be on the piano track or strings track since some styles have 1 - 3 guitar parts.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
