This is one fantastic song and your vocal is your best to date!
This is a keeper.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hello, Kenny
Very simple and beautiful melody with super vocal! Really nice piano ballad. And also full of rock feel. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

Hi Kenny
The word that initially comes to mind is "Wow!" and then on second listen we could think of nothing better to say. ""Wow" covers it pretty good for us.
Your falsetto is superb. That bit of edge in your voice is the perfect compliment to the great music and lyric.
The simplicity of the music says more than a full orchestra could ever have conveyed. To say this simply gorgeous is a slight to its excellence. This is, without a doubt, our favorite song from you one of our favorites on the board at this time. Standing "O"!
Alan & Di Thanks guys! I always love to hear from you

Peter Kenny, This and all the other accolades are absolutely right. I`ll just add that your vocal has a one-take live feel that really knocks this out of the park. One of your best. Robert thanks Robert, i believe it was one take, I rehearse them a few times then record and sometimes get lucky.

Very pure and emotive vocal. The instrumentation you chose was perfect too, just right to compliment the vocal and not take away from it. Thank you Dave

Janice and I have over the years talked about how irrespective of genre we are drawn toward husky vocal timbres. Perhaps we like Americana so much as it tends to showcase such vocals. And now we have continuing great examples of it right here on the forum So obviously we loved the vocal. And, man, the write is stellar. As janice said "beautiful and soulful." And an uplifting positive lyric (the kind I wish I could write). The piano and cello tracks were made for the song and are perfectly mixed for the vocal. A fine addition to a fine catalog. J&B Thanks J&B, I love and appreciate what Janice said and respect and appreciate both of you

Beautiful Kenny, Nice job on the arrangement. The cello works so well with those piano tracks. Wonderful write and a spectacular vocal. When you went for that high note it was gripping. The raspy tone of your vocals sure hits a sweet spot. Very well done. You're on a roll! Don't mess with the muse. Keep em coming. Tom Tom quoted mine on Alan's song, I'm using his on yours - he hit all the points I would too... You are "killin' it" lately, Kenny. SO good. Your vocal recording on this is "the best ever" - really capturing the power in your vocal (I'd say keep doing whatever you did here...) Great listen. fj Let me piggyback on this train. I agree with everything they said. To me, the vocal (and song somewhat) had a Sting quality which, to me, is awesome. This is so beautifully done!! About the best compliment I can give is that after listening, I didn't want to listen to anything else for a half hour or so. Just wanted to let the sweet sound resonate in my mind, like leaving the sweet taste of dessert in your mouth after a fine meal. Truly BEAUTIFUL Kenny!!! One of my faves of so many great songs you've written! Take care. Greg Thanks Greg, now I'm hungry

Kenny,
I really enjoyed this. I love the melody you've woven. It captures the mood of the lyrics wonderfully well. The piano is a perfect choice to showcase this presentation. Then there's your arrangement and you singing... both gleam with excellence!
This is definitely a work to be proud of!
Regards, Noel

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
