Hello, Tom
Very fun song with super vocal! The fusion of traditional country and rock'n'roll is really wonderful. I do love both Bourbon and Scotch. Which whiskey is the Devils Whiskey? Jim Beam Devil's Cut, Jenny (Johnnie) Walker, Queen Jennie or else? Very interested. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.
Shigeki Adachi Shigeki, Glad you liked it. Devils Whiskey was a nickname for illegal bootleg moonshine whiskey. Now there are some distillers making legal moonshine. It is clear, made from fermented corn and sugar and has quite a kick. Here's my bourbon recommendation-Elijah Craig. Thanks, Tom

Tom,
Thank you very much for detailed explanation about Devils Whiskey. Now I understand well. Your bourbon recommendation-Elijah Craig is imported and available in Japan now. So, I would like to buy it and drink it immediately. Thank you again.
Best regards.
Shigeki Adachi

Good song. Nice sound on that guitar. I like the crunchyness in the tone.
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Hey Tom, you once schooled me on Appalachian Honky Tonk and, man, did you nail it here.
This would appeal to modern country folks, traditional country folks, progressive bluegrass folks and Americana folks.
I just checked in and the accolades have already hit on your vocals/guitar, the write and the superb production...so DITTO!!!
We ain't gonna parse it out any further -- rather go back for another listen.
Album quality stuff you got going Mr. Adams!
J&B
We are deep down in the Keys with a bad case of keys disease and cell coverage is a little spotty. I'm having trouble listening to the posts but will give a a thorough run through when we get off island time. Thanks for the fine review and yes this one qualifies for Appalachian Honky Tonk. Tom

Tom, I am constantly amazed at the very high quality of work you present to this forum! In my opinion your work is at the very top level of what is posted here! In this track you did an excellent job of syncopation between the vocal and guitar, which really sets this song off. Everything is absolutely great! Thanks, Torrey.

Hi Tom.
That is one big, BIG, sound you've got going on there.
Sounds like a cross between ZZ Top and Dolly Parton.
Loved every minute of it.

Tom,
You've done it again! This is fantastic!
As others have already noted, everything about this sits perfectly with everything else. The clarity of the mix is exceptionally good and your performance is up there with the best in the forum. floyd mentioned "star quality" and I want to add +1 to that!
Your choice of instruments is excellent and the groove you put together really engages the listener! Loved it!
All the best, Noel Hi Noel, Thanks so much for these great comments. I truly appreciate your insights. Tom Tom
Agree with all the other comments a killer song - fantastic production all round. Some brilliant guitar playing and arranging.
Loved it (having another listen).
Peter Glad you liked it. Thanks Peter, Tom Man, this totally reminded me of Jerry Reed. And since Jerry Reed is just about my favorite feller besides Chet Atkins that is a super high compliment. Great genre song!!! Now, if you can just do me a triple time version of Jerry's Breakdown we can be real good friends. David, I never thought of Jerry. He was one of my favorites and I agree with you that it is in that vein. Thanks for stopping by. Tom

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
