Why did this almost go unnoticed? Because we think this is a very cool production, with nice subtle vocals and a very well balanced musical arrangement. Good work!

Hi Jyonks! (is that the name you want to go by?)
This is the first song I've heard from you, and I like it a lot! It reminds me of songs I've liked by Roger Miller or maybe a male Bobbie Gentry. Maybe even a little James Taylor in the mix.
I especially like the recurring guitar riff.. can I assume that you played it? Likewise, I'm guessing you played harmonica, because it's the same riff the guitar is playing. BIAB does a lot of cool stuff, but generating matching riffs on different instruments isn't usually one of them.
Your vocals are very laid back and easy to hear. The soft quality of your voice allows the harmonies to flow like honey.
Nice song, and I look forward to hearing more from you!

Hey thanks a lot....Name is John, yonks was a nickname in a band I was in years ago. The bass and drums are BiaB the rest is me. I have a few songs up here, I don't know how you do searches but try just using Jyonks I guess.

Hi John,
Really cool song! Talk about laid back .. this is it. We love that casual, don't give a dang ambience you've created here. You're very talented. Loved all your original tracks on this one. YUour vocal has the perfect intonation to really shpe this into a super listen. Great job! best to you,
Alan & Di

I got the Roger Miller vibe too when the song first started. Super vocal and loved the laid back feel to the tune. Well tune...

Laid back vibes are not easy to pull off but you did...and did it well.
It sounds like 3-4 folks who've played together for years. You really meshed with those BiaB guys.
Cool write and vocal also.
Enjoyed it!

This is great. Really, really good vocals. Reminded me of Willie Nelson.

Thanks for sharing, jyonks! I like the laid back vibe of this, it is very palatable! As David mentioned - this is quite reminiscent of Willie Nelson. The vocals and mix on this are both on point! You should be proud of this one

John, this song deserves attention! A great laid back tune that just sounds wonderful all the way around! I agree with David about this having a Willie Nelson feel (somewhat) but for some reason it makes me think of Don Williams too (which is a good thing). You turned out a great tune here. Thanks, Torrey.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
