Hi all
Hi all. I'm looking for suggestions for popular songs that are easy to play on the guitar. I want to expand the videos with scrolling chords and lyrics on my YouTube channel. Thanks in advance!

That's an interesting selection of songs. And at the risk of sounding corny, I was thinking about an older song like Hank Williams Sr's 'I'm so lonesome I could cry' or 'I can't help if I'm still in love with you' or 'Have I told you lately'. Maybe even the song 'I can't tell you why', by the Eagles.... Just a thought... I can't wait to hear the final product.

Kajun, George and Mike. Thanks for the responses. Will check out the resources and songs you have suggested. An interesting thing is happening with my "videos with scrolling chords and lyrics" youtube videos. I have been making a few with scrolling chords and lyrics to the original song so that people who are learning to play guitar can strum along to the original track, without having to sing or anything. A couple of these have been picked up by Youtube and placed in their "Top tracks" playlists. For example, my video of Lionel Richie's recording of "Stuck on You" (with scrolling chords and lyrics) has got 40K views and 100 and something likes from being placed in their curated playlist "Top Tracks - Lionel Richie". Other songs that have been picked up include Elton John's Daniel, Bob Dylan's Blowin' in the Wind, Dixie Chicks Loving Arms, The Bee Gees Massachusetts and a couple of others. So, I am looking for more songs along these lines Please Note; with Youtube's content ID system I am not receiving the revenue from these videos since this revenue goes to the original rights holders on the songs. It is, however, great exposure for the rest of my channel. For those who are interested Here is a link to these videos

Oh, I'm sorry, Joanne, I misunderstood what you were looking for. I was under the impression you were going to record the songs and sing them yourself.... You'll have to shoot a bit lower, I'm riding a Shetland.  P.S. I like what you're doing with the scrolling chords videos Kajun Jeaux
