Has anyone figured out how to a a sus(add2) chord such as:
Ebsus(add2)
or
Fsus(add2)
or
Dbsus2(#4)?

How would you note those in BIAB? I haven't figured out a correct way to note it to get all that I need in those chords.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry that should say "add" the chords....

Has anyone figured out how to "add" a sus(add2) chord such as:
Ebsus(add2)
or
Fsus(add2)
or
Dbsus2(#4)?

How would you note those in BIAB? I haven't figured out a correct way to note it to get all that I need in those chords.
Is there another way to write it where BIAB will accept it?

Thanks in advance!

The best option for Ebsus(add2) is probably Eb9sus. This will have the minor 7th so it might not be exactly what you are after.

For a list of supported chords, have a look under "Chord Builder". The keyboard shortcut is CTRL+SHFT+B.

Another thing you could try is to substitute an Bb7sus/Eb for the Ebsus (add2).

Ebsus is Eb-Ab-Bb (a sus4 chord substitutes the 4th for the third), so then if you add the "2", you get Eb-F-Ab-Bb.

So the Bb7sus is Bb-Eb-F-Ab (which is the 3rd inversion of the Ebsus(add2) chord), then add the Eb bass for your root and you've got all the notes, but in a different inversion (you'll have to see if it sounds okay).

So the formula would be Isus(add2) = V7sus/I.
