Chris' vocals are awesome! Powerful, confident. "Woman Rock" as it should be - as Bob says "Heart-like".

Excellent Rock write, too! Not an easy thing to do. Great "rock phrases" that allow the singer to really "belt it out there" - with just the right amount of "meaning" vs. ambiguity for the listener to fill in the blank. Probably the best Rock write ever presented on the forum.

Top-notch guitar work from every angle. The solos and fills are AWESOME!! LOVE the tone (S-Gear?). The backing guitars are nice - tasteful, not over-done. Perfect. (Nice piano sound! - really well positioned/mixed).

Excellent mix.

This is STUNNINGLY GOOD.

Zowie, y'all. KEEP IT UP!

Pretty much agree with all of that!! There is really a dark intensity to the song that I love. Drums sound great! Wonderful guitar! Nothing could be better!! Take care. Greg

AWESOME!!!!!

Everything floyd said, and others, is well deserved.

Gotta be one of the absolute top productions on the forum this year.

The guitar and vocal performances are over the top good and you wrapped it up in an incredible mix.

Kudos!!!!

J&B

PS That piano was a perfect choice too.

Wow, thanks Janice and Bud!

We went away for a few days, just got back last night. And the first message I got when I checked my email was these comments from you. Thanks so much! laugh

Chris and I really appreciate that, thanks very much Mario! smile

Dave, great song, vocal, performance, mix and overall sound. The guitars do sound exceptionally good and I also agree with Bob's Ann Wilson comparison. Keep on rockin' Torrey.

Mr. Bell and Ms. Spruit:

Yeah, this is "rock" all right, as in a big, hard n' heavy one lobbed from my speakers that landed up-side my head -- !thunk!

The imagery of the lyrics in "The Bullet" are as stark, as searing and surreal as a nightscape glimpsed between flashes of lightning, and Ms. Spruit lashes each word out as though she's lived them.

And while I agree with Greg Johnson's statement that the lyrics had "just the right amount of "meaning" vs. ambiguity for the listener to fill in the blank," there's no doubt in my mind that we're talkin' 'bout some kind of armor-plated love, here.

Five guitar tracks, Mr. Bell??? You should be recording RealTracks for Band-in-a-Box, so we could use them.

Bruised, but not battered,

LOREN
