MY LITTLE SECRET

GOTTA LITLLE SECRET OUT IN ALBERQUE
THAT LOVES ME EVERYTIME
THAT I PASS THROUGH
CHARMING WILLING ABLE
AND DOWN RIGHT FLIRTY
A LITTLE SECRET THAT NOBODY KNEW

THAT SECRETS MY LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN
SOMETHING MY HEART JUST CLINGS ON TOO
AND WHEN MY IM FEELING
OH SO LONELY
THOSE WORDS OF HERS
JUST COME AND PULL ME THROUGH

I WANNA HEAR HER WHISPER
I LOVE YOU IN MY EAR
WANNA SEE THOSE BABY BLUES
MAKES MY TROUBLES DISSAPEAR
WANNA WAKE UP WITH HER
AND GREET A BRAND NEW DAY
WANNA MY LITTLE SECRET
TO NEVER GO AWAY

GTR BREAK 16 BARS

IT GETS SO LONELY OUT
HERE ON THIS HIGHWAY
MY RADIO PLAYS HANKS IM LONESOME TOO
BUT THE MILES
ARE GETTING SHORTER BY THE MINUTE
BUT MY LITTLE SECRET GETING CLOSER TOO

THIRD SUNDAY EVERY MONTH
I GET TO SEE HER
MY HOW SHE'S GROWN NOW SHES 22
I STILL REMEBER WHEN
SHE TOOK HER FIRST BREATH
COS HER FIRST BREATH TOOK MINE AWAY TOO

I WANNA HEAR HER WHISPER
I LOVE YOU IN MY EAR
WANNA SEE THOSE BABY BLUES
MAKES MY TROUBLES DISSAPEAR
WANNA WAKE UP WITH HER
AND GREET A BRAND NEW DAY
WANNA MY LITTLE SECRET
TO NEVER GO AWAY

I enjoy your brand of country and this is another good one. Crisp backing and a sweet message in the lyrics.
Very well done.

Talking about easy-going country and western with a slight Johnny Cash influence.
This must be it ;-) Nicely done.

Awesome country tune. A Two-steppin beauty... Excellent vocal and backtrack. Pretty cool guitar break in there as well

Brad,

A great toe-tappin' feel projects so well from this song.

The fiddle colors everything just so well.

Excellent.

Brad, I like the feel of this one. Great guitar break. The lyrics threw me a bit but the twist in the last verse about the first breath made it clear. Good editing on the fiddle and steel. I enjoyed it, Tom

Fun tune you got here. I love what you did with the fiddle tracks. Definitely has that traditional western swing feel going on. Well done.

Brad, this feels like we just stepped into a Texas club and heard a Western Swing band that’s been doing the swing thing for some time.

Good write, performances and mix.

You’ve got the whole package going here!

Sounds top notch on our monitors.

Dear "Biglad"...

I never even knew that Western Swing existed until about five years ago when I watched a YouTube video featuring the late Glen Campbell singing "Rose of San Antone" with Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. Let me tell you, I fell in love with it instantly.

Everything about your song, "My Little Secret" is an absolute joy to listen to. Your singing brings out all the sweetness of your lyrics. I liked especially, "I wanna hear her whisper / I love you in my ear." That's just pure, heartfelt, truth-telling tenderness.

The rest of the lyrics are, to my ears, surprisingly intimate for such a toe-tappin', upbeat tune. If I were a woman it would be easy to imagine that you were singing the song only for me.

Thank you for sharing your "little secret," "Biglad"!

Sincerely,

LOREN

Nicely put together, Brad. Good job on the fiddles - and the guitar - and everything else...

Clever twist.

Well sung.

Good swing...

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
