The header says it all. I took part in a jam session yesterday and realised how much I had improved. I put it down to playing along with BIAB whenever I play and using BIAB on Streetjelly and live. Certainly I've not been following a dedicated practice routine on the guitar or vocals. It's more of a natural bi-product of BIAB.

I think it's partly improving technically and partly improving musically and I put it down to playing along with the best session musicians through BIAB. Increasingly, the band just let me do a set these days. I think I did about 10 songs yesterday with them backing me. This in part reflects the fact that I know my material better and am more comfortable performing and singing live, which is a bi-product of creating backing tracks in BIAB. Over 80 songs now. When so many of us our amateurs, this is really a very important aspect of BIAB! grin

Like the great feedback recently posted by Al-David:
"I write and play in quite a few different genres. The flexibility BIAB gives me makes transpositions, from one genre to another, so easy and quick. A number of times I've created a piece, intending it to be a Smooth Jazz or Smooth RnB song. But when I generated the song, it just didn't work in the intended genre.

With a simple click of the Style Picker ... BAM! The song ended up as a pretty decent Pop song. I only had to replace a couple of instruments from the new style and alter a couple of chords..."
