Love the humour in the lyrics.
Super backtrack and harmonies and David`s guitar intro and solo
reminded me of Steven Stills at his best.
Marvellous collaboration.

Robert

Thanks, Robert. We appreciate that... David is full of humor...

This is such an amazing collaboration! You guys really hit the nail on the head on this one. I couldn't imagine a more perfect pairing. I can hear the grit in the vocals which I think are totally befitting of the song.

Fantastic job you guys!

Hello, floyd

What a strong sound!
You always make such a wonderful work very easily.
I entirely agree with Mario.
Grit is a hit!
Everything is spot on. The mix, backing tracks, guitar lead, vocals and harmonies.
Floyd, Janice and that Snyder guy has a hit on their hands.
Two thumbs up.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Top notch songwriting team - and a nice guitar solo from David.
Wonderful work all round. (Hope you guys have broken the back of the Hurricane clean up).

What a great collab! Love the "gritty" vocals. Definitely channeling some Jerry Reed here, and I love that! I could definitely hear this one on the radio.

Great job, guys!

It occurs to me "that David Snyder guy" and that Floyd Jane guy write some great songs!! So, when they team up, you know it will be great, and sure enough, IT IS! A really cool write with just enough levity for the serious subject, and just enough....well...Grit! Cool music, cool lyrics, and some appropriate edginess in the feel of the arrangement. A lot of great lines, but I particularly like:

i won't cry i'm made strong
just like a little light with my dawn

Really well done in every way guys-a forum A-team effort!!

Take care. Greg

A little different vocal style for you, Floyd! But it sounded terrific. Good collab on the lyric and whichever of you wrote the music/melody did a great job, too.

Avant-garde Country Rock? Could be!!! I do a little Avant-garde Jazz and this has some of the same elements from a Country genesis.

That was a super listen!

And yeah, David ... "BIAB U"!

Bets to both of you. Okay, gonna go get another one ready for posting.

Alan

Appreciate all that, Alan. The lyric is mostly that Snyder guy...

Ok, this is the kind of song that reminds me how I wish I was American, because only an American could write (and sing, and play) a song like this.
Just great. Simple, direct, straight to the point, superb execution. Great vocals, great guitar. And BIAB is just perfect for these kinds of tracks. Keep'em coming guys!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
