Hello, everybody

This year it is ten years since the first vocaloid Miku was born.
To celebrate it, Piapro, the developer of Miku planned the 10th anniversary song contest.
This song is an entry for that contest. Prize-winning works are currently being screened now.
It was composed by me and the lyrics were written by Alt-H, whom I met on the website of Piapro.
This time I prepared a video version and an audio only version for you.
Alt-H is also the creator of the animation of the video.
Any comments encouraged.
Always welcome.

Best regards.

Shigeki Adachi

Summary of lyrics:

You are passionate like scarlet flowers that blossom still now
Just like the red roses that you gave me ten years ago

I am so innocent I am a flower that can easily be dyed in your color
A red rose and a white rose, they are just like you and I

You have always made me look better intently with your song
They all are treasures for me
I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart

I will give you a bouquet of only white roses from me today
Please accept my great gratitude

There are many clouds colored like a virgin in the sky with a drizzly rain
And we have many impossible dreams with the rainbow-colored thoughts

I will never forget the past ten years I had walked with you
So let's celebrate the tenth anniversary today

I will give you a bouquet of only white roses from me today
Please accept my great gratitude

And also ten years from today
Let’s send our songs to the whole new world
More than the number of roses I have

What a tune! I loved everything about this - from the arrangement, to the way you mixed those vocals, to how all the instruments meld together. It sounds extremely professional, and sounds very catchy. Honestly, I don't think I'd change a thing.

Great work, and thanks so much for sharing smile

Shigeki,

This is great! I really LOVE the melody.

Of course the overall production is excellent as always, but what I love most about your songs are the melodies. You are really a master at that!

I have to agree with Deryk and David Snyder on their sentiments. This is an absolutely lovely song, and I think it's great that you made a song for the 10th anniversary.

Thanks for sharing!

Shigeki,

Very enjoyable and highly professional as always.
A melody to drift away on and the B3 gives the arrangement a little bit of a church feel.
I liked the video too.
Here`s to a win for your entry!

Really lovely tune with a 60's pop feeling. Organ creates great mood. Nice work with the vocaloid.

David took the words out of my mouth (or is it off my keyboard?). Your melodies are always superb as in this case! You productions are great but it is always the melody that leaves me in awe. Great stuff!! Take care. Greg

Shigeki Adachi, as others have mentioned, you always seem to be able to deliver great vocaloid quality.

This song is no exception. The video clip adds even more quality to a great production.

Wow! That is a great melody.

And well performed by the ten year old Miku! smile

The B3, a favorite of ours, works very well in the well done mix.

We also enjoyed the video. What a wonderful entry for the competition.

We wish you the best!!!
