You Know
You set my heart on fire
You Know
You are all I desire
You Know
Your like fine fine wine
You Know
That I wish you were mine

You Know
That I love you so
You Know
You set my heart aglow
You Know
That your smile is bright
You Know
That I'll love you tonight

You Know
I think of you all the time
You Know
How I wish you were mine

You Know
My love for you grows and grows
You Know
From your head to your toes
You Know
From your sweet sweet lips
You Know
Down to your finger tips

You Know
You set my heart on fire
You Know
You are all I desire
You Know
Your like fine fine wine
You Know
That I wish you were mine

You Know
You set my heart on fire
You Know
You are all I desire
You Know
Your like fine fine wine
You Know
That I wish you were mine

This is a very cool song George. I like to noodle as well. Most of my songs come from experimenting with riffs on the guitar then adding the backtrack. Your guitar was excellent. Please share some more of your tunes

Great work here, George! I really like arrangement here, and the songwriting is really top notch. It makes me think of an 80's version of Arcade Fire almost, if you have ever listened to them. It's got a great groove through the whole thing, and it's the perfect level of catchiness.

Good job, and thanks so much for sharing smile

Deryk

Hi George,

Nice to "meet' you!

I think Deryk summed up my thoughts very nicely - good song that I like a lot. Nice arrangement and backing tracks. I really enjoyed it.

Like Scott, many of my songs come from me sitting around and just playing random riffs on my guitar and then one of them strikes me such that ui might be able to expand it into a real song. Sometimes it workjs, other times, not so much.

Please post more of your music. Most of us would enjoy that. Wishing you well,

Alan

Hi George, Man that was a great listen! Excellent Job on everything Vocals and production! This energetic tune had me imagining Johnny Cash stepping aside and letting Roy Orbison sing one of his hits! Good work! Thanks, Torrey

Scott,
Thank you for your kind words, very pleasing.
I only play guitar for the chord progression then the melody happens in my head.

Deryk,
I must confess, it is all Band in a Box, I only chose the sound that seemed to fit.
The songwriting just happens, no real input from me, someone just taps me on the shoulder and there it is.

Alan,
Nice to "meet" you too.
Thank you for taking a listen and your kind words.

Floyd,
Perhaps the instruments were a little too much, as Mac used to say "less is more".
The vocal was difficult for me as I only have a plastic microphone wand and had to get rid of all the noise it produces.

Torrey,
Thanks so much for placing me into the great musicians like those two, although I don't see myself anywhere near them.
But thank you anyway.

Rob,
Thank you for the kind words.

George

Hey George. This has a very nice Roy Orbison vibe to it. Enjoyed my listen very much.

I love the almost beach-y feel that this song has. That may just be because of the image you selected on SoundCloud, but I feel it's really fitting! smile You did a really great job here. I also love that bluegrass feel the song has. <3 Thanks for sharing!

George,
I enjoyed the pop catchiness of this song and the difference you brought to the style by adding different instruments... and your vocal sounds fine.
Looking forward to more.

Hi Robert,

I had some work to do to get my vocal clean enough to work.
I think I will have to invest in a proper microphone.
Thank you for listening.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
