Basically, I have some audio of a singer-songwriter style song. The tempo fluctuates between 83 and 87 BPM (give or take).
I found a great Realstyle to use, but the tempo keeps re-adjusting to match the tempo map created in ACW. Is there a way to "slave" (is that the right term?) the tempo of the audio to the measures playing in BiaB?
Thanks in advance!

Where does your audio come from? Is it a home recording or a commercial release? When you import a tempo map from the ACW, generated tracks from a style follow the tempo of the recorded audio. The style fluctuates to the tempo map. If when you play that audio normally you don't hear fluctuations but do after exporting the ACW tempo map onto your chord chart, there is likely an error in your timing creating the tempo map. This will be true especially if the recorded audio you are working with was commercially recorded in my experience. If you do not intend to include the recorded audio in your project and used it to determine the key, tempo and chords, erase the audio track and F5/Reset All Bars or Audio|Open Audio Chord Wizard Utilities|Erase Tempo Map.
Use the Audio Menu method if you've made any other changes to your Bars because using F5 will reset any changes you have made to your project including gain changes, mutes and fades.
I run into this all the time and it's usually my poor timing that creates these fluctuations. Several import/export trips back into the ACW corrects the errors to a great extent. I tend to think you likely don't notice these fluctuations listening to the song normally and do with the Biab generated tracks. A commercial release with such variations would be intentional and Biab should follow the tempo map and sound the same as the recorded audio - meaning the fluctuations are no more noticeable in the generated tracks than they are in the recorded audio.
Another common situation to look for is a song with a short bar signature change such as a 2/2 or 3/4 bar in a 4/4 song. PGMusic has a video showing how to make a manual tempo map in RealBand to address these situations. These normally occur in transition areas of the song. Missing this change could cause sudden jumps in tempo between bars.
You can adjust the recorded audio, if it is actually varying that much in tempo, in a DAW and then import the corrected audio and run it through the ACW.
Sounds to me like the OP wants the arrangement to be a steady tempo and have the audio file adjust to that tempo (perhaps based on the original tempo map created). This is currently not supported.
It is something I have asked for previously in the wish list - to normalize the tempo of an audio file (after figuring out where each of the bar lines are) to a specific tempo. So, the audio gets sped up in a bar if it is slower than the specified tempo, and slowed down if faster.
Unfortunately, we don't have this ability today.

If I understand your interpretation, I think you can indeed do this, though it is time/labor intensive.
You have to highlight the section you want to change, Right-Click on that section, and select the 'Time Stretch and Pitch Shift' option. Adjust, then do the next section. (at least from memory) And I think this methodology is for recent versions ..
They keep moving this option in the menu, so it may not be obvious or the same as described, depending on your version. Like I said, it takes time/effort, but I think it can be done. Uncheck the 'Pitch Shift' option and it should just stretch.
Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
Yes, it may. The integration between the ACW/Audio Editor screen and chord chart definitely make it easier to visualize the correct bar lines.
However, regarding the actual tempo of the recorded audio, the end results of the two different ACW's now available in BIAB, would be the same.
Neither method changes the tempo of the original audio. As Rharv described above, that requires actually applying time stretching in a DAW or audio editing program.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
