In the past version BIAB 2017 I used to select the save wav button and it would ask the various types I would like to save. I chose a directory and gave the file a name and tell it to save each track as a .wav. It named each files by Song Name_render_RealTrack_instrument. Now it seems to store the Rendered file by name (mix as per BIAB) then store each individual track as temp_wav_render_RealTrack_instrument. This had me fooled a bit as I could not find the individual tracks.
I guess I will have to create a folder for each song now?
Any ideas

I'm not a fan of this behavior either and hope there is a way to get back to having the song name in the individually rendered tracks. I'm currently working on a project with 11 songs and I try to keep everything organized in a single project folder and it was much easier when all the rendered files let you know what song they belonged to. Also have to rename them to import into my DAW for combining with other instruments we are recording. a real workflow killer. Someone please help if you know how to resolve this. <<TS>>
Edit: One more thing. It overwrites the individual tracks from the previously rendered tune with no warning.
Tony - Yeah I'm doing that as a work around but we have a home studio with multiple clients and as we are working out tunes/tracks (ultimately replaced with real players) we typically organized by client folder. This now creates another step in an already defined workflow and the no warning of an overwrite is really dangerous.
I've opened a support ticket with PG Music. I would really like to see this where the song name is preserved in the individually rendered tracks. <<TS>>
Individual folders has a flaw as well. Do you create different versions of a tune as you're working through it? For example, trying different chords in the chorus or bridge? I do this a lot and save as song_name version#. Now I'll have to create folders for each different version number or track renders will overwrite each other.

I miss the old way of saving of individual files and selectable format very much. Besides, i take it that this is the new version, but it has a bug. Selecting "one file per track" only exports one track OK (first, bass?), and the rest of the tracks has just a few bytes; a time consuming workaround is load the song in Realband, and export from there ...
